Doh, it's like having a faulty lighter for a pet. Don't worry, I'm supposedly a disney princess therefor all animals love me. I think I'll name it Krakatoa. .....I rarely use hair products but considering what all I get stuck in my hair I think the last thing I need is a dragon stuck in it. >.< These curls will be gone in a flash.

Few more weeks and Cass will be in our new location (well temp we'll rent for now) while I stay here and wrap things up. It's just a lot of logistics and planning. I think we're both getting a bit overwhelmed so tonight we took an oath to just breath. NO adulting allowed for a few hours anyway.

So here I am taping up a few boxes when I hear this meow and look up to see this tan cat....we don't own a tan cat.
And Ash is standing behind said tan cat with the same wtf look on his face as I'm sure I had on mine.
I sent Cass a pic of the cat...she has never seen it before.

idky but I had it stuck in my head shinedown's new album came out this week and its next week. This makes me sad.
I need to give Shinedown another chance. They just haven't appealed to me much. But they're playing at my county's fair this year and I haven't decided if I want to try and go to their concert....
They're not for everyone. Idk I go through my phases but they seem to be a band I keep going back to.

Krakatoa is one of the most disasterous and famous volcanoes to ever erupt. It is an island in Indonesia. It is one of those volcanoes that gets ash freakin everywhere and killed a lot of people in the 1880s. Global temperatures dropped for a couple years, and I think that eruption was the one which caused bad harvests in Britain and could have been one of the factors that caused the french revolution. Wait! No, that was Laki in Iceland. My bad. The French revolution thing, I mean.
Still. Bad, deadly volcano.

yeah I noticed , slow on the uptake today, my mind was stuck on volcano and not the micro dragon thing. I think we should breed them and set them loose on the enemies. gtk
if we can't toss them in the volcano we can roast them with the micro dragons.

So there was a girl eating at the computer next to me earlier and it was awfully distracting. I'm not the kind to say much, but I glanced over trying to decide if I should and ended up thinking instead, "...You're lucky you're cute."

I didn't mean that in a confrontational way, btw. Just confused. Lol. Like you do know I'm only 22, right?
Doesn't mean my conversations still become boring or change suddenly because I cross the threshold into adult (which is totally a social structure, btw. Historically or in other cultures you would have been considered an adult already)
A speech? Nah. I'm just trying to point out that assuming either of us act a certain way or talk about certain things just because we are adults does not make any sense. Like when I was younger I was way more serious and mature than I am now because now I have that luxery. Sure, you may be more likely to find stuff relating to adulting on our journals than those of teens, but that doesn't mean all we talk about is adulting. Lol. I've had entire groups of friends over to watch things like Moana and Wreck It Ralph. Some of my friends are pushing 30. Did that stop them from singing along to Moana? Nope. If anything I would say being an adult calls for more reason to escape. Why else would so many adults go for alcohol to loosen up, have fun running around with their children or pets, go dancing, or break up the meniality of life to pursue recreational activities (paint ball, skiing, etc.). It's often to have fun. Just because we are adults doesn't mean we instantly lose that connection to "fun" - which also varies in and of itself around a multitude of factors. Of course I am entirely speaking for myself here, idk if Nate has a different view on it.
Now I'm gonna try and catch another 30 minutes of sleep before I have to get ready for work.
