Tried my hand at cooking today. Good news, the fire/smoke detectour is in proper working order.

We need it. It's been a dry winter and that isn't giving us enough snow to melt to hopefully prevent forest fires this summer...

not necessarily a problem, Cass is up for a job that would require a major move, today she found out there is a VERY good chance she may get this position so we thought we had more time to give it some thought and now we are going to need to make a decision rather quickly.
Ah I hate it whenever things like that happen, you know? Maybe, you could think out the different outcomes of the solution and try to see which one's the best fit for her! I wouldn't know much about jobs though because *cough cough* minor here.

Fun. I miss the east coast. West coast isn't too bad though. Very environmentally focused.
I live on east coast, never been out west.
We lived out west, we've lived a lot of places skipped central US though.
Cass is having a rough day! while walking from her car to work she had a pebble in her shoe, took it off to shake said pebble from shoe and someone bumped into her knocking the shoe from her hand and tossing it a few feet, right into the path of a car, the wheel caught it oddly and shot it sideways sending it flying where it flew right into a run off drain leaving Cass with only one shoe.
From there when she got into work a bunch of other unfortunate events occurred she went to the bathroom and in her frustration failed to take note as to which bathroom she entered and walked right into the men's room.
I'm still laughing my ass off
poor Cass, I hope her day gets better.
I'm torn between being sympathetic and laughing. Lol. That sucks though. Now she will have to replace her shoes.
She's laughing now....but she was NOT a happy camper this morning. I brought her another pair of shoes and a coffee then went back and took her out for lunch.
I don't think she'll mind replacing the shoes though really she doesn't need to! she is a shoe hoarder
I just spent the last few minutes unconsciously being totally mesmerized by a plastic bag caught in the breeze. ...smh

it was. Def game changer cus the morning thus far had sucked big time, and she had to get up extra early to arrange everything.
Spare room, hall closet, hall bathroom, bottom kitchen cabinets all boxed up and packed....time to call it for the day.
We are done adulting for the day. We left the blanket fort up, We're cranking up the fireplace and camping out in the livingroom.
I'll have to protect Cass from the mountain lion, aka Ash (her cat) He keeps batting at the blankets.
haha XD my cat would force his way in, or knock down the fort.
he's done that already, came right through the roof. smh he's just too damn fascinated with it, he's a huge nuisance.
Today has been a down day, very low key and just blah...which is fine by me cus things are about to get hectic in the upcoming weeks.
Epitome of the day - Woman are like bacon, they look good, smell good, may even go as far to say they taste good...but they slowly kill us.
