Soulless
The chiseled features of his profile were silhouetted by the moonlight shining thru a dirt filmed window. The light of the moon produce odd streaks of grayish-blue highlights in his jet black hair. His thin lips were pulled back in a menacing grin, one that he wore so arrogantly that it sent a surge of anger through my entire body. He was a tall but slender man, and yet his presence gave even the vilest of beings the creeps.
He stood glaring down at the petite unmoving body on the floor as if it were the most offensive thing he’d ever laid eyes on. A small pool of blood formed around the head of the young girl on the floor. She wasn’t dead, yet. A stale breeze blew through the cracked window stirring up a miniature funnel cloud of dust and debris from the floor. I shifted my position, the weakened wood planks strained under my weight, and his cold gaze rose from the girl to me.
His eyes were the colour of black onyx. It was like looking into a soulless super massive black hole. There was nothing to be seen in those eyes but emptiness, and yet you could feel the ambitious hatred that emanated from them. It bore deep within, rendering one defenseless. I stood motionless, fighting to muster up enough self control to break free of his gaze. His menacing grin widened, revealing his perfectly aligned, movie star whitened teeth.
That smile was enough to spark the rage that simmered deep inside me. I hated him. I hated everything he stood for, everything he was and everything he’d ever done. It was time for him to pay. I diverted my eyes from his and looked to the girl on the floor; the girl I was to protect. I had failed her, but I would not fail her a second time.
“Impressive, few have ever broken my gaze. . .but none have ever lived to tell of it,” His voice was so deep and ominous it reverberated throughout the tiny dilapidated house.
“Until now,” I said through gritted teeth and clinched fist.
He let out a loud, booming, demented sounding laugh.
Before I even had a chance to think of my actions, I was across the floor. I felt the cold skin of his face against my knuckles. His head was driven to the right by the force of my blow. Just as his head was being propelled to the side I caught sight of his eyes, and for the first time I read something in those eyes other than hate and emptiness. I saw shock.
I wanted to grin with my small victory, but there was no time. The shock was to my advantage and it would only last a moment. To celebrate prematurely would be my doom.
I used the momentary shock to my advantage and landed another blow to the stomach area. I could feel the snap of his ribs, my hand was engulfed into the hallow of his stomach as the bones gave way.
He staggered backwards and I landed a sidekick to same area, whatever ribs hadn’t gave way with the first blow were taken out with this powerful kick. He doubled over clinching his side. A trail of blood trickled out from the corner of his mouth. I landed another kick to his face, he let out a deafening yell that coincided with the breaking of his nose. Blood pour from his nostrils like a running faucet.
He charged at me like a bull, with a swiftness I’d never seen before. He had me to the ground with both hands wrapped around my throat before I could even blink. His weight was like a steel blanket that I could not emerge from under. I kicked and squirmed but I could barely move a muscle.
The dagger, if I could just reach it,
With all my might I focused my efforts on reaching the dagger that I had strapped to my shin. I shifted to the side, all the while my eyes remained locked on his soul sucking gaze. I could feel myself growing weaker with every passing second.
Fight!
Finally my finger tips found the hem of my pant leg, with great effort I slid the pant leg up and undid the snap of the holster holding the dagger. I let my eyes go blank, letting him think the end was near. I watch the smirk cross his face, taking great pleasure in finishing me off, or so he thought.
I focused, collected all of my resources and with one swift motion I brought the dagger up and plunged it into his chest. I heard the ripping of his flesh and felt the coldness of his blood spilling over my hand. His blood ran cold. Proof of just how evil he was.
For the second time that day I saw shock in those soulless eyes. He arched his back in agony and gasped. He let out a ragged wet breath as his lungs filled with his cold blood. I thrust the dagger in deeper until he slumped to the floor. I rolled him off of me and stood over his lifeless, pathetic body. I don’t know what came over me, I knew he was dead but I kicked him anyway. A sickening gurgling sound escaped from his throat. I stood back slightly stunned. I thought about all the heartache and angst that he had caused over the years, and then I unleashed a furry of kicks on his body.
I’m not sure if it was the sound of his skull crushing under my boot or the whimper from the girl that snapped me back to reality.
His once handsomely well defined face was nothing more than a bloody mess, They’ll need dental records.

Criminal Minds 2013
I normally pick my targets carefully. The ones who pay little to no mind at all to their surroundings are prime. Their eyes always glued to their beloved cell phones in hand, checking the latest facebook status updates. Occasionally they give a halfhearted upwards glance just for the appearance of simulating caution. They’re under the false illusion that walking at a brisk pace will keep them safe. Fools they are, the lot of them.
Today, I’m in a rather dodgy mood, I want more of a challenge. I want to take more than just their precious money and idolized material goods. I want to take their sense of security, their dignity. I want to see the terror and panic in their eyes as they fear for their lives.
Relax, I don’t really plan on harming them, though they won’t be privy to my intentions. I’ll send a message to society. They should thank me for being so considerate of their well being and reminding them of the things they ought to value more than the costly gadgets they carry. The air they breathe, the time they’ve lost , the sights unseen and the words unspoken. Yes, they ought to thank me, dontchaya think?...What do you know? You’re one of them.
I lean against the wall and scan the crowd, the hustle and bustle of all those in milling about. My prey. They pass me by as if I am invisible. I mean nothing to them; I am nothing more than a spec on the bottom of their shoe. Today however will be a memorable experience for one of them. They’ll not soon forget me. I can feel the evil sneer slide across my face in spite of myself. I quickly bow my head and wipe the grin from my mug before looking back up to continue my observations. I don’t wish to draw attention to myself.
A woman walks by, her high heeled stilettos’ clicking away on the pavement with each dainty step she takes. She has one of those miniature pooches in her oversized purse, its head sticking out, ears perked up and yapping away at everything in sight. She’d be an easy target, too easy in fact.
A gruesome image flashes in my mind. I see myself snapping the neck of the that yappy little pup and grinning with satisfaction as its head flops to the side. The girl screams in horror and that quickly the image is gone. A sharp, searing pain rips across my forehead, taking my breath away and I lean heavily into the wall for support. The pain only last a few seconds, though it is enough to leave me breathless and unsteady.....TIME UP

On the inside - AHHHHHHH!!!! Runs around in circles.

Got to the party, I spotted her easily enough but knew she hadn't seen me yet. I saw this dude wearing a werewolf mask and pair of werewolf gloves over by the keg. He slid the mask up to the top of his head and took his paws off to have better access of the beer dispenser. I walked over and had a brief conversation, then asked if he wouldn't mind if I borrowed his costume for a few minutes. I filled him in on my plan and he agreed. I put the mask and gloves on -we even switched jackets - then walked over to where Cass was now sitting with a few friends. I stopped a few feet short and just stared at her. I knew she'd sense it soon enough, and even though she tried to hide it I was quite aware of the very moment my seemingly creepy stare caught her attention. As she turned to clue her friend in on my presence I took the opportunity to disappear and switch locations. Sure enough when the other girl looked to the location Cassie had inconspicuously indicated, I was gone and the girl had a baffled expression. Cass then turned to check, seeing the werewolf was no longer there an anxious look washed over her face. I saw her eyes scanning the room for the mysterious werewolf. I laid low for a few minutes then reappeared on the other side of the room and once again fixed my gaze on her. Once she saw me she quickly looked away and tried to nonchalantly gain the attention of the same girl she had told before. Again I quickly disappeared. I weaved through the crowd and came up behind her this time. It took a bit longer for her to sense my presence but when she did, she didn't look away this time or try to get her friends attention. Instead she quickly stood up and marched over to me.
"Can I help you with something?" She said, her voice laced with irritation.
I said nothing but nodded my head once, indicating yes.
"And what would that be?" She asked. Her signature 'sassy,I'm losing my patience and ticked off' tone.
I raised my arm in an attempt to give her an embrace, when she stepped back. "Don't even!" Her raised voice caught the attention of several nearby partiers.
I bowed my head, then slowly raised it and once again took a step towards her. I could see the look in her eyes, she was starting to get scared but was doing everything she could not to show it. She stood firm this time, not backing away.
"I'm telling you now to just stop."
We both just stood there not moving. Several moments passed, the onlookers sensing whatever was happening was of no importance went back to their conversations and partying ways. I bowed my head, this time in hopes to alleviate some of her anxiousness. After a few long moments she turned and walked away. Settling in on the chair next to her friend. Not paying
"Nate!...Oh my GOD, Aaarrgh. I should have known!"
"I'm surprised you didn't."
"I was thinking it the whole time, but.."
I stepped around the chair and was finally allowed to embrace her. "Always go with your instinct, luv."
"My instinct told me some creep was watching me,"
"And see you were right." I laughed and gave her a kiss.

The links I've posted are to the journal I have on GR also called 'Summons the Chaos' and that was started around 2010.
Oh, I see. That's neat. So what do you do now as a living, since you're done with high school? If you don't mind me asking, that is.

My plan is to stick with it, til Cass finishes with college, in the meantime I'm considering, possibly taking some online courses, just the basics til I narrow down what or if I even want to go for a degree.

Now accepting applications for residential housing.

Give me that look one more time and I will hit you so hard you'll be looking at the inside of your skull!
Every time you see me you give that look. You don't know me, I don't know you, therefore you ought not have an issue...but rest assure you will if that judgmental, contemptuous glare continues.
Sincerely,
Have a pleasant evening

Anyway. I'd like to take a quick moment to say thank you to those who nominated and or voted for my journal.
