Awesome. That I'd read.
That sounds awful.
Your other thingy wasn't awful.
I just couldn't read it.
It would get me mad.
But a serial killer story is doable.
I'm not a serial killer. Promise.

No like those moments when you get the feeling someone is watching you and so you look and see a face for a split second before it disappears.

And it only disappeared after I looked at it. It was a weird color too. Like an orange of sorts.

Okay I'll see if those don't make me mad sometime.

message 1861: by Nate (new)

Nate | 4557 comments Like an oompa loompa? You're being haunted by an oompa loompa.

XD Then it was a pretty tall one. It was skinny too I think. I couldn't tell if it was a floating head or if it was wearing a black shirt or something because of the angle I'm at.

Maybe. I'll see maybe tomorrow or the day after.

message 1863: by Nate (last edited May 22, 2016 08:35AM) (new)

Nate | 4557 comments Perhaps he was stretched by one of Wonka's inventions so instead of short and stout he's now tall and skinny?..idk I'm just speculating.

K that's a never. - But if you do, Don't read the one titled Chapter 3: The psychologist - clowning around though.

Definitely. There's no other possibility.

Wait so read it or don't and why?

message 1865: by Nate (new)

Nate | 4557 comments Don't read that particular chapter, it'll prob tick you off. lol Besides it gets a bit crude towards the end.

Nate | 4557 comments Going through some old writing I came across this. Not quite a serial killer but apparently the idea has always appealed to me....

Crime Prompt timed-25 minutes (original entry June 2013 - Writing on the wall prompt)

Criminal Minds

I normally pick my targets carefully. The ones who pay little to no mind at all to their surroundings are prime. Their eyes always glued to their beloved cell phones in hand, checking the latest facebook status updates. Occasionally they give a halfhearted upwards glance just for the appearance of simulating caution. They’re under the false illusion that walking at a brisk pace will keep them safe. Fools they are, the lot of them.

Today, I’m in a rather dodgy mood, I want more of a challenge. I want to take more than just their precious money and idolized material goods. I want to take their sense of security, their dignity. I want to see the terror and panic in their eyes as they fear for their lives.

Relax, I don’t really plan on harming them, though they won’t be privy to my intentions. I’ll send a message to society. They should thank me for being so considerate of their well being and reminding them of the things they ought to value more than the costly gadgets they carry. The air they breathe, the time they’ve lost , the sights unseen and the words unspoken. Yes, they ought to thank me, dontchaya think?...What do you know? You’re one of them.

I lean against the wall and scan the crowd, the hustle and bustle of all those in milling about. My prey. They pass me by as if I am invisible. I mean nothing to them; I am nothing more than a spec on the bottom of their shoe. Today however will be a memorable experience for one of them. They’ll not soon forget me. I can feel the evil sneer slide across my face in spite of myself. I quickly bow my head and wipe the grin from my mug before looking back up to continue my observations. I don’t wish to draw attention to myself.

A woman walks by, her high heeled stilettos’ clicking away on the pavement with each dainty step she takes. She has one of those miniature pooches in her oversized purse, its head sticking out, ears perked up and yapping away at everything in sight. She’d be an easy target, too easy in fact.

A gruesome image flashes in my mind. I see myself snapping the neck of the that yappy little pup and grinning with satisfaction as its head flops to the side. The girl screams in horror and that quickly the image is gone. A sharp, searing pain rips across my forehead, taking my breath away and I lean heavily into the wall for support. The pain only last a few seconds, though it is enough to leave me breathless and unsteady.....TIME UP

Whenever I think of high heels, I think of murder. Same with those underground parking lots.

message 1872: by Nate (last edited May 22, 2016 11:16AM) (new)

Nate | 4557 comments Heels could be lethal weapon. Parking garages = Agreed. in general they're a murder waiting to happen.

give me a few weeks. I'll see if I can try to summons the character of a serial killer and write something from that pov. I like the dark stuff.

message 1873: by notyourfriend, supposedly dead. (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 19444 comments Mod
Good blunt force trauma to the head. Depends on how skinny it is. But it's usually so obvious when a heel is used.
Oh is that what they're called?

message 1874: by Nate (new)

Nate | 4557 comments I was thinking more along the lines of the heel being used to take out an eye and if plunged in deep enough it should pierce the frontal lobe causing significant brain trauma resulting in death.

message 1875: by notyourfriend, supposedly dead. (new)

notyourfriend (amemori) | 19444 comments Mod
That was my second thought, but I usually think of the whole bashing the head in thing first. Like a knife and a bat all in one.

message 1876: by Nate (last edited May 22, 2016 02:05PM) (new)

Nate | 4557 comments Brutal. Hope I don't come across the likes of you while in a parking garage.

Optimism is poison. It's better to be realistic. Not my fault if reality favors pessimism.
