Possibilities for the quest: Athena recently teased Ares about him losing the Trojan War, and he told his son to capture the daughter of Calliope, his ex, who has the power to travel in books, and forced her to take him into the Iliad. Calliope and Athena were generally worried (Calliope more than Athena). Ares has sent another one of his children to stop Calliope from going in the book to stop him, so she and Athena sent one of their children (well, technically 2 for Calliope) dreams about the issue, which is where we are now.

I needed a child of Athena, so... Well, maybe I can change it a bit, because it would be Ash's half-sibling, and Ares could've sent her to, like, maybe sabotage the quest?
