Whenever I think of him, I wonder if I will ever be able to find love like that again. Unfortunately, he had to leave me, since he cannot stay in one body for more than a day. I will miss him forever, but I think what I need is new love.

However in the end because the The Death Cure could not be found he was taken away from me. Broken for so long I could not move on, but it's time to let my heart be stolen again and where it goes we'll just have to see.

I met tall, dark, and winged one night at a local carnival. It was hard not to fall in love with Patch in the beginning since he was so charming. As time went on things began to change. He became cocky, overly confident, and spoke with way too much sexual innuendo. I'm not a prude, but if you can't come out of the gutter once in a while I find it very hard to speak to you. We were meeting my best friend and her date at the carnival one night when he started in talking about us. I turned to him and said, "Hush, Hush". Patch did not appreciate the fact that I hushed him so he stalked away. Since he did not want to change his ways I figured that he and I were not meant for each other.
I'm confused. Was Akiva in that book with Karou too, or did you just mismatch character and book?
