Hi, since this website is global I thought that we could get to know each other better by telling where we're from, and other specifics about our home country, like for example if your parents were born in the same country as you and so on! :)

Hi, I live in Australia. It can get very hot here but its a great country! And I live on the coast so its pretty good, lots of beaches haha! My parents were both born in Australia, as was I, however my Dad's mother was born in Poland, so yeah, I've got some Polish in me. I am an only child as well, so I'm not too familiar with what its like to have a sibling haha.
I am from the U.S. Both of my parents are born in Mexico and I am the middle child. So yeah. This is fun.:-)
I am from France, Strasbourg, it's right on the border with Germany. Both my parents where born in France, and I have a grandfather who comes from the French West Indies, so I'm 1/4 Black! :) I have a little brother and a little sister who aren't that much younger than me and being the oldest isn't that much fun, trust me! :p I am currently finishing my bachelor in English in France! :)
Hi - I live in South Africa, nice to meet you all.

You spelled it correctly, you all may call me Maddie, everyone on Goodreads does just that! xx

Hi guys! I was born in Iran, spent my early childhood in Uganda, my early teens in Bosnia, late teens in Indonesia, and now I'm in Australia. Books are pretty much the only constants in my life

That's so cool, guys! I don't want to be racist, but... have you ever seen a kangaroo? Or any interesting small mammals? I just WOULD want to see one, that seems so adorable and majestic and wuvvely. :D
Funnily, just today, there was a possum in the wall INSIDE our school! It was so cute! And yes I have seen kangaroos.

Born and raised in a little town on the south-east coast of England! My parents are both English as well but they were originally from up north/midlands. I have one brother who is 2 years older and when we're not arguing we actually get along really well haha :)
Hey Aaron! You totally should if you ever get the chance, just don't be surprised if it's pouring with rain even in the middle of summer haha :) I agree, British TV is amazing but a lot of my favourite shows are actually American...
Is there a specific place you'd like to visit? Yeah it sucks, we do tend to get off pretty lightly in the south-east compared to other parts :) The BBC is definitely the best! I've always thought the British accent is kinda meh personally haha :') And isn't tea just the best!? I don't understand people who drink coffee, it's absolutely vile!
Noooo I love coffee!!! I guess I'm an addict. But I drink lots of tea too :)
I went to England about two years ago, back when the royal baby was about to be born.
I really want to try and return maybe this winter? I love it!
