Weaknesses: She is afraid of heights and of cockroaches. She is often discriminated and hates it. Once in a while, when no one is watching, she likes to sit alone and cry.
Relationship with campers: She tries her best to make friends and is finding that it’s beginning to pay off.
History: She lived with her mom and grandparents on their family farm. She grew up happy, learning from her grandparents and mother. She never wandered about her father and no one bothered to tell her. When she turned 11 strange things began to happen. She would see people, hear voices and mysterious things would happen around her. She was told it was all just stress, her imagination and puberty. On her 13th birthday, three creatures were outside. They looked like huge vultures but had the heads of old women. The Kindly Ones. They came with a message for her mother: “It was time to take Jayla to the camp.” Crying, mother packed some of my clothes and an old chest for Jayla. They bought plane tickets and flew to New York. She dropped her off at Camp Half-Blood. The things in the chest were from her dad apparently and her mom said that the camp was the safest place for her.

History: She's a typically mixed race kid growing with the stereotypes society brands her with. Her mother died of cancer when she was 10 and she had to become the parent for her 2 younger siblings, 8 and 7. Her mother remarried to her siblings alcoholic father. Her father was out of the picture, obviously ;-). The grandparents reluctantly gained custody of her and her half brothers. They were distant since they disowned her mother for having her out of wedlock. Her grandparents were very traditional closed minded Asian people. They treated her brothers well since her mother had them after she remarried despite him being an alcoholic. They were basically out of the picture for her. She struggled with school due to her dyslexia and the ADHD made her restless. During whatever free time she could get she would practice archery or play the piano to calm her mind. She didn't have time for after school activities since she'd have to work to support herself. Since her grandparents would help out with her finances. She was well liked in school despite barely having many friends and being guarded. Problems started to occur when she turned 15. People started to turn against her because of some new kids, who showed up halfway through freshman year, spreading rumors. That isolated her from her friends and they would taunt her relentlessly. She would always brush it off since she still had her best friend and had to be strong for her siblings. The next year was worse because that's when the people bullying her got physical. They were much stronger than the average 16 year old teen. She started getting "hallucinations", she'd see her bullies as monsters. Which freaked her out and she told her friend Corey. Who reacted oddly to the news by not being as shocked. The next year she turned 17 and the "hallucinations" got worse. That's the year her best friend Corey revealed that they weren't "hallucinations" and that they were actually monsters. Her friend also revealed that she was sent to bring her to a camp for people like her, when she was ready. Then she was later claimed by Apollo and life slowly got better and she became confident and strong, both mentally and physically.

She would never turn her back or tell secrets of anyone that she trusts and holds close. She seems cold to those who don't know her, but really, her face just tries to persuade you that she is, but her expressions change to show change in emotion, which mostly turn to look negative. She stands up for anything that she believes in, and likes to handle hard situations by herself, because she doesn't want other innocent people to get involved.

History: Myra was born into an average American family. She lived with her mother Lily, who never realised she was a demigod when she went into her mother's old trunk. When she turned seven, her mom decided it would be best if she was raised isolated from other children so that she would not be teased or bullied by other children. She was sent to a mental hospital by one of the children's parents and lived there for two years until she was nine and escaped from the mental hospital and ran to Camp Half-Blood

Personality: Often described as "the angry midget" of Ares' children, Theodore has never really gotten a handle of his very short temper, but has gotten better at masking it's presence, or at least, when not on the battlefield. When not being the definition of a Napoleon Complex, he is rather good at cracking jokes, and always gives off the air of a distinguished Gentleman. This is, of course, aided by his British accent, and the moustache that he plans on growing, but never gets round to doing so. He strongly believes in Honour and Chivalry, in that he will only use a ranged weapon if his opponent has one, and so forth.

History: Abandoned to the Camp at a young age, Theodore was always training, and when he wasn't doing that, he was either eating or sleeping. He swiftly mastered the sword, and at the age of 13, he took on a Minotaur by his lonesome, winning the battle with but a scar on his hand, and he would later say that the Minotaur fought with honour and valour, and he holds a great respect for the beast. He then took up the quest of slaying a monster that was terrorising the citizens of a small Yorkshire town, a monster that turned out to be a large tribe of Anthropophages, which he killed, and took the skull of their leader as proof. This earned him the favour of his father, who commissioned Hephaestus to make him the suit of armour he wears to this day, and incorporates the skull of the anthropophage cheiftain in it's shield.

History: Parents were kind to him even though he was troubled by his ADHD and dyslexia. Personality: Addie is a childish, dorky little girl! She's often thought as younger than she actually is, which annoys her quite a bit. She wouldn't hesitate to take your dessert, as she has a big sweet tooth. So watch out!

History: Addie thought that she had a normal life. She really did! Sure, weird things happened to her, but it could have just been the neighborhood. The city. Anything. Well, she one day found out why she felt so out of place in her large family of nine.
When her parents were younger, in their mid-twenties, they found her on a bench. She was wrapped up in a blanket, and bawling. She had been abandoned, and her parents took her in, and ended up adopting her after a long time of caring for her. She was apparently at a orphanage for a whole, but she was too young to remember. After finding this out, her adoptive older brother and sister admitted to remembering when their parents brought her home after sitting her.
Then weird stuff started happening. Like, even weirder than usual. Like, "run a Cyclops is chasing you and intent on killing you" weird. A satyr who was working as a protecter at her school for her took her to Camp Half Blood, where they told her family that she would be at a private school, if her parents would accept. Her parents accepted immediately, glad that she was considered for this "school", and she's been at camp ever since.

History: Finn grew up with a professional football('soccer') player for a dad, but he quit the team. Now his dad, a model in America, has been taking care of him for a long time. but when he came to the age of 13, and the monsters started creeping up, his dad dropped him off wherever he could. Finn was adopted by another family, but he spent months in orphanages and foster homes, which took its toll on him. And every time he'd meet a girl he really liked, for her character, the girl ended up backstabbing him just because they liked how Finn looked. It always hurt him, especially since he thought he didn't look very 'handsome'. He was always rather bland by his standards, but he had the gift of giving off the sort of aura Aphrodite could do. You know, how Aphrodite can take on the look of any girl/guy you like or the most beautiful/handsome girl/guy you can think of. That's sort of what Finn does, only his face doesn't change. He just kinda, manipulates others emotions. Which is why he's always hated his power, it was more of a curse for him. When Finnian realized he was a demigod (it was pretty obvious, from the sword and shield his mother sent.) His adoptive family had no idea where he went during the summer, just that Finn went to some special camp for 'half-bloods'. Like, half American-half Irish, like Finnian. Of course, that's all they knew about Finn's other life. But then, Finn met a girl who caught his eye. A child of Eris, who he loved with all his heart. Who couldn't have cared less about him, when Cecelia left him, Finn blamed himself, thinking he did something wrong, which hasn't helped his depression. Since then, he's always sort of stood for the 'heartbreak' sort of love.

Personality: Trust doesn't come easy for Fletcher. There's not really a deep backstory reason; it just takes people a while to be trusted by Fletcher. Because of this, he doesn't have that many friends. He almost shoots himself in the foot with his distrust, but he doesn't mind. He prefers working alone and only having a few friends/confidantes. Although he doesn't form friendships easily, he is very kind and helpful to people, friends and strangers alike. He loves to make people's day easier, and it upsets him when he isn't able to help someone. Fletcher is a good listener too; he prefers it over talking. His personality makes him attractive as a friend because people know they can rely on him for anything, but Fletcher usually is the reason for a friendship to not catch. The few friends he does have, however, know they can depend on him; Fletcher is nothing if not loyal.

History: Fletcher's father, Mark Jones, is a professor of literature at a university in Arkansas. Mark Jones caught Hecate's attention 17 years ago because he loves to study Houdini and similar magicians. He finds the subject and the magicians' methods fascinating. Mark already had a daughter (Brynn -- age 9 at the time of Fletcher's birth), but Mark's previous wife had died 6 years earlier (unknown cause). Hecate and Mark met after she saw Mark's presentation on the possible methods of Houdini's magic tricks. They got together and had Fletcher. Monsters began attacking when Fletcher was 11. A satyr found Fletcher after a particularly dangerous incident where an angry storm spirit chased him through his neighborhood, forcing him to release magic. Some neighbors saw the outburst of magic and, not understanding what they saw (as mortals tend to do), they called the police. Thankfully, the satyr had witnessed the whole thing and took Fletcher to his dad, where the satyr had to explain what had just happened. The satyr couldn't explain it, but Fletcher had released magic in the form of pure energy, which had evaporated the oppressive storm spirit and put the whole county in a blackout for days. Mark already knew that this day was coming, so he said farewell to his son. The satyr and Fletcher finally arrived at Half-Blood Hill the day after Fletcher turned 12. They were being chased all the way up the hill by more storm spirits. Fletcher couldn't summon any magic due to his lack of training and his belief that his satyr friend would protect him. Unfortunately, the satyr tried to stop the storm spirits so Fletcher could make it past the boundary. Fletcher saw his friend die from behind Thalia's Tree. He was claimed by Hecate three days later.

Personality: For the most part, Mira is kind. However, due to having Janus as her father, she suffers from what mortals call Multi-Personality Disorder. She can do a complete 180° with her emotions, with one minute being kind and the next acting like a complete monster.

History: Her mother raised her, not knowing that she was a demigod. She had a normal life, since children of minor gods are often not detected as easily by monsters. Her mother also suffers from Multi-Personality Disorder, and would often take her anger out sometimes on her. She didn't really mean it, it was just her disorder. But Mira decided to run away one day, knowing that it was selfish and that her mother needed her. She somehow ended up at Camp Half-Blood, and that's where she's been ever since. She stays at camp during summer, because she does not want to go back home.

Appearance (sorry I can't figure out how to post a picture. It won't send...): She's like all Athena kids, so she has blonde hair and gray eyes. He straight hair spills to shoulder-blade level. She's a bit on the shorter side, only reaching 5 feet and 3 inches. Because of her small size and petite frame, she's very light and agile.

Personality: She's clever (obviously). Rachel is very mellow and calm, and can spend hours staring out to sea, thinking. She's very easy-going and hard to anger, but you don't want to cross her line. She probably won't attack outright unless absolutely necessary, but she will find out the person's weakness and exploit it. Thankfully for others, she has a kind heart, so she won't go around taking hostages, but if a camp-member insults her or something, they will soon find themselves confronted with their worst fear (snakes in the bed, lack of poptarts, a knife at their throat handled by a very angry Rachel showing who's boss, etc.). So she's kind and easy-going, but you don't want to get on her bad side. Her calm demeanor has made her the seemingly-easy target for many bullies and monsters, but all of them have regretted it later.

History: She was pretty good and avoided all monster attacks until age 13. This was possible because her dad knew Athena's identity and he knew how to protect them from monsters. He stayed close to very mortal people -- he knew who these "very mortal people" were because Rachel's "uncle" was a satyr -- and purposefully moved to New York so they'd be close to Camp Half-Blood. Rachel's dad didn't want her to go, even though he knew her dangerous identity, and he managed to talk the satyr (and ultimately Chiron) into keeping her until she was 13. Unfortunately, a chimera attacked their apartment when Rachel was 12. Her father told the satyr to take Rachel and run to Camp. They made it to Camp safely, but the satyr went back -- thinking her father would have been safe from the monster if the chimera had no demi-god target -- to find the apartment burned down and Rachel's dad killed.

History:Her mother has been able to keep her safe until she was about 10 years old in Austin TX, her mother was a mortal who could see through the mist and protected any demigod she could find, gave them food, water, a home for a bit. So Amorette had a lot of teenagers at her house, until one day her mother opened the door and Amorette immediately knew something was wrong.Her mother never looked the worried she definitely knew something was wrong when she grabbed the Celestial Bronze Sword on the wall, that she thought was decoration. Her mother had planned an escape route that lead near California near Camp Jupiter, but took a wrong turn and ended up closer to New York. When she was 12 1/2 years old she saw a woman being abused by an older man, she didn't know it was a demigod against a Monster, she ran in and kicked the weak monster in the groin. In return the demigod hey tried to take her to Camp Half -Blood knowing it would be a safe place for her but the demigod ended up dying the process. She had cried for days and night not knowing what to do and stumbled apon it on her birthday when she was 13 and finally she decided to take control of her emotions. Kevin is a handsome, slightly rugged looking young man. His lightly tanned skin and captivating brown eyes only adds to his attractiveness, including his stubble. Personality: Kevin is usually a calm person. He doesn't freak out unless something major has happened and usually tries to calm people down when they become upset. History: Kevin never had a family. He was left at an orphanage as a baby and only had an index card with him that had the name "Kevin" on it, to let the orphanage workers now that he was his name. He had the last name "Doe" for a while, but changed it to Hendrix after hearing the name "Jimi Hendrix" and thought it was cool. As he grew up, he was very different from any other kid in the orphanage. He was a lot stronger and faster than anyone there, and had ADHD. At first, the kids thought Kevin was awesome for being this powerful, but pretty soon, they realized how unnatural it was and became afraid. This fear isolated Kevin and depressed him. Apollo soon became sick of watching his kin suffer like this and began giving his son hints about the Camp Half-Blood, hoping that his sun would run away to there. History: Born in Ancient Greece to a wealthy family, Ten had no trouble regarding his blade skills, yet his tactical genius, naturally geared towards terror tactics, was always by far his stronger suit. He could have a well disciplined army break down to infighting in but an hour by doing nothing but placing a bottle of poison here or a fiendish letter there, or he could have then fearing the shadows at every turn, using his powers to swiftly and gruesomely brutalise commanders and priests, until a handful of the foe remained for his warriors to annihilate. It isn't uncommon for Marina to be mistaken as a child of Aphrodite considering the fact that she seems to be blatantly stunning. Marina has light blond hair that falls in soft, silky waves that always seem to be perfect regardless of what she has just come from doing. Her eyes are a light blue that almost seems to have a slight lavender. When utilising the power she has they seem to become slightly more of a violet colour and darken significantly. Her skin is golden and very well cared fro making it free of blemishes. As for Marina's style of dress, she prefers comfortable clothes, but she never wears anything not fashionable, this means that whilst what she wears is beautiful it's also softer than anything you will ever feel in your life.

Personality ~
Marina is extremely self-involved, she is convinced that other people need to respect her, her mother is the goddess of inevitability and necessity, respected by both gods and mortals, older than Chaos and Phanes, born at the dawn of creation, younger only than the primordial deity Chronos, her spouse, so of course that translates to Marina needing to be worshipped as well in her mind. She may or may not have a complete superiority complex, but one could argue she has some reason to her vanity, after all, she is beautiful and powerful with a good brain in her head. Marina can be a sweetheart once you accept her as superior, or at least tell her that you do, whether or not you actually believe so is up to you, but as long as she's convinced she'll open up to you. Marina can also be a bit of a flirt if she thinks your good enough to associate with, but for her "enough to associate with" is a difficult title to earn. She happens to be quite manipulative as well, but it doesn't show as she's subtle about it.

Marina Carmichael, daughter of wealthy politician and businessman Henry Carmichael. Her family history was rich and spanned back to times long forgotten. Working backwards you'd find a family that ran a highly successful business in England, where her father was from, then you'd find that, centuries before that they were high ranked nobles in France. Before being French nobles they had been a distinct family in Rome and even earlier than that they were a branch of the royal family in Greece. Marina's bloodline alone makes her stand out from anyone she meets. Her mother Ananke was the oldest goddess of all, she was a goddess of all that was a must, the mightiest dictator of all if she dubbed it to be it was. Her father was similar in the manner that he was controlling and that if he wanted something he got it. Marina had quite obviously inherited this from them she was spoiled, everyone just did what she wanted and no one ever told her no. At a young age, she heard about Camp half blood as a place where demigods could be safe, but in her mind, it was more of a competition thing. In all reality, she was in no danger, after all, even the Moirai bent to the will of Ananke. Marina wanted to meet other people with divine heritage simply so that she could assert her superiority upon them. She had never had issues with anything in life, boys fawned over her, not vice versa, she could afford anything and people were always nice to her be it that they wished for her to get them something or that they actually wanted to be her friends.
