ABANDONED. Published before 1975? YA Girl with three magical objects

I'm trying to find my mother's favorite book from when she was a girl. She was born in 1962, so I'm assuming she read this in or before 1975. She hasn't brought this book up in years (and also forgets the title), so I know this would mean a lot to her as a Christmas gift.

The book has a girl with three magical objects. One is a box that magically possesses anything that gets lost or disappears. Lose your pencil? It's in the box. Missing candlesticks? They're in the box. Et cetera.

I do not remember what the other two objects are. I think one is a stick? Maybe a wand? And the third could be a cloak or a key or neither of those things.

I think your book may be What the Witch Left by Ruth Chew, OH, I guess that's what Bonnie suggested with her link. I remember the box where missing things appear.

I immediately thought of Ruth Chew when I read the description. Her books were VERY popular with my generation and were frequently carried in the monthly Scholastic Book order form. Honestly, I only remember there being three objects (the thousand-league boots figure strongly in my memory), so perhaps the characters only make real use of three things in the story.
