Harpe sighed with relief. "When? Now?" she asked, a little nervous at setting out into the open
Terracotta hesitated. "Um... When ever your ready I'm in no hurry." He answered looking down putting his left talon over his right shyly. He didn't want to push her but he really did want to find out a quickly. He wanted to know who his bigwings was.

Terracotta fallowed with a low run Geo grabbed hold of his wing not to fall.
Shade heaved his bulk from his corner, glad that there was now some quiet. he went around checking to make sure everything was in the right place, moving stuff around when they weren't.
Displacer dodged the student running out of the library, both were thinking about going to the mudwings kingdom together he smiled at how the mudwing thought how beautiful the Icewing was. When they fully left. "Ah to be a dragonet so full of energy and excitement." He said walking in.
"personally i enjoy it more when they aren't here." Shade said with his rough, snarly voice. "i myself never had the pleasure of such things as 'fun'." he said as he worked.
Displacer looked at the librarian. "Shade right, IIIIII'M Displacer." He said with a long yawn.
"i remember." he said with a growl. most everyone thought he was being aggressive, although in reality it was simply the way he spoke.
Displacer smiled his teardrop scale shimmered in the faint light, next to his teal and green swirled eyes. "So what good adventures are the students up to today I wounder, allot of them are finding the mudwing kingdom the spot to be." He said with a chuckle as he found a spot were the sun could hit his scales as he laid down.
"been there once, back when i was younger. the queens are idiots and the soldiers even more so. their fighting technique is great right up until they hear one of their sibs being tortured." he snorted at the memory. "arrogant lizards deserved worse, i could have let the blasted mad-face die if i wanted." he said in his snarly voice. "prey is alright in a few places but it's mostly mud. took me months to get all that mud out of my hide."
Displacer looked up from were he laid. "Mmm. Never really like fighting to mutch work, all the moving around and the continues bombardment of thoughts of what there next move is going to be, yup to mutch work." He answered.
"it's rather easy. after a century or two one tends to do things by instincts." he used his tail to straighten up a stack of books, his deadly stinger carefully smoothing the stack. "i found the NightWings were once powerful enemies, although that was long ago."
Displacer smiled "some are, but I'm not. I like how the rainwings think why worry about it just relaxe and enjoying life." He gave his opinion.
Shade snorted and looked at the NightWing. "you're the first of your kind that hasn't attacked me, you know that? even the students here fear me and sometimes strike out in their terror." he didn't seem too bothered by this though.
Displacer looked at shade, "I mean no offense when I say this, it's not worth the effort to attack another dragon unless they attacked me first of course then I might have to do something." He said that last part with a 'please don't make me so something' expression.
((I'm going to be ghosting kinda for a few minutes fixing lunch))
"tell that to the younger generation. i can see why they'd attack me though, my appearance is rather shocking." Shade made a rather gruesome face before he chuckled and went back to his work.
Displacer smiled with a shrug, "I don't mind if you're ugly." Displacer said jokingly.
Shade snarled at him, although a bit more playfully than normal. "look whose talking."
Displacer sat up spreading his starry wings and took a elegant pose. "Shade please, I'm fabulous." He said trying miserable to keep a strate face.
Shade revealed his own starry wings. it often came as a shock to others he was part NightWing despite the color he was. he looked too much like the others for anyone to actually tell. "and i am more so." he said with a completely straight face, although his eyes twinkled with amusement.
Displacer looked over ah struck. "But that face." He said right before he collapsed doing a overly dramatic death, "it's so ugly it kills SSS aaahhhh." He said as he played dead, trying hard not to chuckle.
he struck a menacing pose, thinking it amusing, although in reality it was far from humorous. the pose showed off his powerful body and deadly string to full view, making him look even scarier than usual.
Displacer got up, "to mutch? I'm sorry." He said quickly backing down. Displacer tried hard to keep his mind reading in check in times like this for it usually made matters worse.
"i was trying to be funny, guess i need to work on it." he said as he shifted to his more usual posture.
Displacer looked up. "I thought you were actually going to attack me for that one." He said still a little shaken.
"my life as left very little room for fun and amusement. everyday i had to think of what it would take to survive the day, the next day, so on and so forth. my only joy came from a few books i managed to find, and then they were only for times when i could do nothing but wait." Shade said as he checked the spots where the youngsters had been, checking to make sure they hadn't caused too much damage.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Displacer answered. "Hey if your ever in the mood to talk I'll listen." He added.
"i am not complaining, if that is what you think. my life was tough but it made me tough in turn. few alive today can remember hardships a dragon can suffer alone." he said, as he angrily fixed a knocked over stack of books.
"I was just offering my friendship just because you can go alone doesn't mean you have to." Displacer smiled as he laid in the sun making his dark purple yew become noticeable.
"i hope you don't expect anything instantly." he worked a few minutes before stopping and looking at the NightWing. "do you know the reason i came here?"
"Mmm. Not really." Displacer answered with a shrug.
"a young RainWing named Banana. she was the first friend i ever had and couldn't let her come here alone. once i got here i couldn't leave." he said simply.
Displacer smiled "that's good, if you don't mind me asking what made you want to stay?" He asked
"laughter. i wanted be as close as possible to that sound. first it was her's then it was others. eventually i decided to it was better to stay than to leave."
Displacer stood up stretching, "yea the sounds are wounderfull here." He replied.
"mostly. a few i wish i could get rid of but i've been warned that, should any student's come to harm because of me, i'll be severely punished." Shade said angrily, which in his case meant his voice became snarlier.
Displacer frowned, "why would you want to harm dragonets, there young and still learning, and witch ones are you talking about?" He asked carefully.
just as he was about to speak a young cross-breed wandered in. Shade blinked as he recognized the young dragonet Fox.
Displacer smiled. "Hello." He said warmly.
Fox nodded as he started searching among the books Shade had just finished fixing. it was only when Shade growled lightly that Fox looked up in surprise.
Displacer sighed. "Relaxe it's a library the scrolls are meant for reading. He looked to Fox don't worry he's intemedating but Shade here won't hurt you as long as your respectful." Her said happily.
Shade snorted and asked, "what are you looking for?" Fox muttered under his breath causing Shade to frown, somewhat scaring the youngster. "speak up or don't speak at all, but don't murmur like that. it's annoying." Fox gulped for a moment before saying the scroll he was looking for. Shade sighed, as he had just recently put that one away because no one read it, and went in search of it himself.
Displacer looked at Fox. "It'll be fine he's intemedating yes but your fine" he said reinsuring him.
