Sphinx didn't even look at the new dragon, "I'm fine" she grunted still looking for a map. my first friend here gets put into the hospital after he gets his neck sliced and almost killed and that nightwing who did it gets to walk just fine indeed. sphinx thought angrily "ghaa, the teachers hid the map from me again.." Sphinx complained.

"Which map? I might be able to get it for you." Moonreader offered
"The map of Pyrrhia." Sphinx said with a sigh.
"Oh I have my own copy of that one. You can borrow it if you want." He started digging through his bag "I might not have it with me though."
Sphinx looked over, "were did you get a map? The teachers here won't let me have one nor do they like me looking at one, there to afraid I won't come back if I got my talons on one." Sphinx said. there proubly right too. she thought.
"Why? How would a scroll have anything to do with that?" He asked curiously and stopped searching his bag
"I'm addicted to exploring and I've already got in trouble for skipping a few classes as is, and I always like having an idea were in going before I go, it also helps me get my mind off things." Sound answered.
"Hm interesting. Though it could be dangerous. Just don't go too far from the school. What's your name by the way?" He continued rummaging through his bag
"Sphinx, nice to meet you, what's yours?" She answered then asked.
"I'm moon reader. You have a nice name." He said shyly
"Moon reader, thank you. Wait moon reader does your name imply you can read minds." Sphinx asked.
((Still there?))
"Um no but I can see the future." He said hoping she wouldn't hate him for it.
"I was named after the way ancient dragons used to use the position of the moons and stars to predict the future."
"Oh, that's cool." Sphinx stated with a smile. "I'm glad I can't see the future then my adventures would be boring and dull if I new what was going to happen before it happens but I also see how it's useful too." She answered.
Moonreader smiled lightly seeming to relax a little "Thanks. Yeah I can imagine that. But it is helpful. So do you plan on going on an adventure."
"Every day, any day I get the chance to sneak out." She said happily.
"Really? How far do you go?" Moon asked curiously
"Let's see the furthest from here I've been so far has been the rainforest didn't make it to the rainwings village though. Be cool to go there I think." Sphinx answered
"Wow. You must be really brave to go that far? I'm barely comfortable leaving the library." He chuckled ruefully
Sphinx frowned a bit. "Well when you're a capable fighter able to over power even mudwings there's little to be afraid of." She said standing tall, proud of being bigger then normal for her age.
"Yeah that must be nice." He said looking up at her in awe
"Yea, but it's hard to make friends when most others are eather intimated or to scared to talk to you, plus I'm always on the move so there's that to." Sphinx replied.
"Always on the move? So you won't stay here?" He knew that Sphinxes stay or leaving would greatly impact the future
"It's undecided, I mean I already left home without saying good bye, and my own family didn't try and stop me why would I let jade mountain hold me back from seeing the world." Sphinx said with that shine in her eye, of a dragon with a goal. "There's places out there just ready to be found again lost to tone and I want to be the one who finds them." She announce with inspiration.
"Wow. So you're an explorer and adventurer. It must get lonely out there though."

Sphinx frowned remembering the time she got lost in the desert alone, "I'm not gonna lie to you, but being alone is one of my greatest fears, but there's so many dragons out there I've met all kinds, friendly rude, and even down right evil, but I'm not going to let my fears stop me from being who I am." She answered playing with the end of her silk traveling scarf with her talons. and any dragon who's brave anough to stand bye me to the end is worth dieing for. she thought proudly.
"So haven't you ever considered taking someone with you on an adventure? That's would be safer and less lonely."
"I have Olympus said he would go with me but Destiny attacked us know he's in the hospital healing soi have to wait till he's better before he can come with." Sphinx answered still playing with her scarf.
Moon nodded "Alright I hope he gets well soon. How long are you usually gone?"
"For know, I've been trying to at least be back for classes but it doesn't always end that way so sometimes all day maybe even two. It comes down to what all I find." Sphinx answered.
"Wow. What kind of stuf do you usually find?" The nightwing asked looking at Sphinx wide eyed
"New foods, places, defrant dragons, and a good time.
"Wow that must be nice." Moon smiled lightly
"It is, the freedom one has to travel is amazing.
"The only place I've ever traveled was home to here."
"Mmm. Since Olympus is currently injured would you like to go with me on an adventure?" Sphinx asked. "I'm thinking somewhere near the mudwings kingdom this time." She added.
Moon looked surprised "Me on an adventure? I-I've never thought about it before."
"It'd be fun," Sphinx said "less you to scared, it's cool I would understand." She stated
"Hmm okay I'll go." He nodded "It will be in and I would get to study the mud wings."
"Cool, so yea soon as you find your map I can make plans on were in the mudwings kingdom we can go." Sphinx said smiling clapping her talons together.
Moon smiled and pulled the scroll out. He had actually found it fairly quickly but he was deciding wether or not to give it to her "So you we go soon?"
"We go as soon as I have an idea were we go." Sphinx answered
"Hm okay." Moon unrolled the scroll on the ground and pointed to Jade mountain and then the mud kingdom "So we have to find the fastest route from here to there. Hm."
"Or the route that looks most fun." Sphinx added.
"Is that part of an adventure?" He smiled a little "Okay what do you consider fun."
"I consider something new fun like a path no one thinks to take." Sphinx answered.
"Hm alright then. We could take this way along the beach."
Sphinx looked at the path Moonreader pointed out. "Excellent" She said happily will playing with the end of her scarf.
