Gemstone giggled, "Cow? Oooo! I think you like peaches more!" she acted as if she was talking about his crushes. She couldn't stop laughing
Partly following the smell of new and old scrolls, and the directions on his scroll, he'd long since lost his sister-which made him wary. Epiphany's mind was crowded with thoughts, other dragons' thoughts, it.... It bothered him. He could practically feel their emotions, definitely hear their thoughts, and occasionally catch tidbits of imagination and memories. It was cool, but it made E.P. uncomfortable-it wasn't like he was trying to look into their thoughts, but it felt rude even so. At least int he library the only thoughts dragons had were about their scrolls-which was also bad if he was given a spoiler on a scroll...

Seeing a female dragon shoved into his mind, Epiphany hesitated, trying to locate where it was coming from. From what Pip could tell, the only dragons here were the librarian and a very large dragon... A crossbreed? Looking over at Fox, the dark scaled dragonet shifted back. The rainbow scales that sprinkled over the underside of his wings and the line of scales down his neck seemed to sparkle even brighter as excitement reached his eyes, "Hey, what kinda crossbreed are you?" Epiphany asked after hurrying over to the older dragon, though-as he stepped closer-his steps slowed to a tiny inch every step. Where's Omniscient again...? His sister usually opened up conversations with an easy comments-himself? He opened up with a question, always a question.

"Are you sure?" Epiphany spoke calmly, he knew the truth-but inside he was quivering and wiggling. His sister would know just how to talk, just how to wring it out of Fox-or simply threaten him until he spoke. But Epiphany was shyer, quicker to hide, but also quicker to fight back if he was pushed far enough-which was rare to never. "E-Epiphany," the name was NightWing enough, but the shimmer of RainWing scales lining the inside and bottom of his wings and the straight line of rainbow scales down the sides of his neck proved his mixed blood. At least he wasn't nearly as obvious as Omniscient, though....
"Y-You're Fox, right?" Desperate to cover up the awkward silence, it hit him about five minutes later that-hey-if he were a normal dragon, he wouldn't know that! Ducking his head in embarrassment, Epiphany's scales just by his eyes sparked like diamonds, diamonds he wished he didn't have-so he could at least pretend to be like everyone else...

((it's fine Rose, do whatever you're comfortable with!))

"I-" at a loss for words, the younger dragon shuffled backwards a few more inches. "I, I wasn't tr-trying to hide!" He yelped, E.P. cringed at his stuttering words. Finally taking a breath and looking up, Epiphany wondered if it was worth risking a possible acquaintance. But... How would he react? Ah, yes, Epiphany was always eager-and disappointed-to see how dragons reacted to his mindreading. Would they not trust him? Would they hate him? Or would they treat him the same...?
Responding to his worried tone, Epiphany tapped the sides of his eyes near the corner. There sparkled tiny scales of bright silver-almost like diamond implants.

Dusk flew into the window, having been too nervous to go in through the main entrance. It was her first day, so she wanted to get used to her surroundings before talking to anyone. She tumbled into the library, almost knocking over a rack of scrolls. "Sorry!" she said to no one in particular. She tiptoed over to an interesting rack of scrolls, labeled "Darkstalker."
((It's alright if she wants to join our rp, but if she doesn't than Moon does have a point))

((Epiphany is male, he has a twin sister named Omniscient))
"Mhm," Epiphany confirmed, dipping his head once before adding, "My twin sister, Omniscient, has future vision!" It was how the two talked to one another-in a way. His sister would think something, he'd listen to it, and respond in subtle movements or tiny signals.
"Well then, I guess I can't trick him into thinking I'm full MudWing. Oh, my goodness, he's probably reading my thoughts right now," that last thought made a tiny smile arrange itself on his face. Doing his best to ignore the rest of the long thought, Pip could still hear it as background noise-a low and irritating hum that was just there, like a bee. Looking up at Fox, Epiphany shrugged, "I can read your thoughts, but I tend to avoid doing that-it's rude for dragons who want privacy. I won't tell anyone!"

"Of course!" Pip squeaked, this isn't so bad... He'd been scared out of his wits at first, but seeing as Fox wasn't being unfriendly, the hybrid took this as a good sign. "J-just now, actually!" Epiphany said with a tiny smile, tail curling pleasantly, "M-My sister and I both attend here! We're in dif-different Winglets, though..."
((It's fine, we'll have to wait for Rose Gold and see if they're ok with it))
((It's cool Meg! It'll be nice for Ep to meet an older NightWing w/ the same ability as him))
((We can start another RP somewhere else??))
((There's a rp there, I'll find a place))

Dusk looked down at Chestnut. "I kinda know how you feel. I'm not training to be a queen, of course, but my dad works for Queen Thorn, and he wants me to do his job when I grow up. I mean, I want the job, but I don't know if I have what it takes. You may have met my dad before. His name is Char, a SandWing."
