Nightstriker smiled. "Indeed. It has collapsed and you made a perfect copy of the map. Have you ever thought about traveling to other winglets to see what you could find?" He asked.

Echo shook her head, "I've met some dragonets from different winglets. Never been to the cave though. I assume it's a bit, 'private' and only for them" curiosity suddenly gnawed at her. She was a bit proud of herself for getting the map perfectly and noticing the problem in it

Nightstriker looked down at Echo. "So you never felt the urge to go on an adventure?" He asked her a bit surprised.
Echo shrugged, "Jade Mountain is my only home. Why would I go cause mischief?" she was now asking herself the same question. "If I was always out on adventures, I'd get myself killed sooner or later" she added quietly, Coral's imagine bursting into her mind. So much for 'sister-love' she thought bitterly
Nightstriker nodded. "I guess that is what discourages most dragons." He said. "I always find the risk worth the prize though." He said with a smile. "Though I move around to much to make friends I always learn something new. Speaking of which I'm thinking about heading to meet Queen Amber." He said. It was obvious he wasn't well versed in current events.
Echo stared at Nightstriker as if he was insane. She forced a laugh, "You're joking, right?" she could only imagine Nightwings meeting their enemy in the war.

Nightstriker looked at her. "Is she dead?" He asked.
Echo realized he wasn't joking. "Um, no" she moved a bit closer to him so she could speak more quietly. "There's kind of a war between Skywings and Icewings.... Nightwings are sided with the Icewings" she glanced sideways awkwardly
Nightstriker nodded. "Right. That wouldn't end well." He admitted.
"Hmm, it might just work though" Echo bean to ponder. "The Nightwings are considered neutral, you might just get away with it!" she wanted to visit the Skywing Kingdom, but Seawings were an absolute 'NO'
Nightstriker thought for a moment. With a shrug he finally decided on something. "Maybe I might be able to go." He said chuckling.
Echo's eyes shone, "Maybe I could come too!" she paused for a moment. "Maybe as your 'apprentice' thing" her voice had gotten more quiet

Nightstriker smiled. "Why not?" He asked with a smile. "Sure. It sounds fun." He said smiling even bigger. "I always wanted someone to teach." He said jokingly.
Echo's eyes shone. She wanted to scream with excitement but knew that it'd result in something deadly. Her large tail seemed to wag in response. "It'll be amazing!"

Nightstriker smiled. "Always come prepared uh." He said with a chuckle he put his satchel back on. He put his scrolls back. He started walking toward the door.((Why does this remind me of a quest beginning?))

Gemstone let go of Pumpkins talons as they entered the library. She folded her wings, rolling onto a rug. She squeaked as she landed on her wing funny
"I'm fine" Gemstone insisted happily, righting herself carefully. "Any ideas?" she asked, sitting next to him and leaning gently against him a bit.
"Good idea" Gemstone scooted a bit closer to him, though she made sure to respect his personal space. "We'll get A's!"
Gemstone darted through the isles of scrolls, grabbing a scroll before putting it back when it had small imprints of talons on it. "Found one!" she chirped after finally finding a blank scroll
Gemstone did a little happy dance, spinning around until she was dizzy. She had scooted away from him a bit so she wouldn't burn him. "A's for everyone!"
Gemstone began to run through some ideas. "Okay, we'll need a timeline... Some famous dragons during the Scorching" she tried to remember all the information Surf had given them
Gemstone glanced sideways at the last comment. She didn't enjoy her 'curse' but she let it slide. Being cheerful was better. "Less work for me" was all she could say
"Just don't write down the stutters!" Gemstone chirped, rolling around but careful not to stand on a rug for too long. She was afraid it would catch on fire, though there was a slim chance
Gemstone smiled, nudging him gently. "Definitely smart enough" she complimented, blushing a bit as well. Don't blush she silently scolded herself
Gemstone put two rocks on each end of the scroll so it'd stay in place without having to be held. "There" she seemed satisfied with her actions. She began to read off lines for Pumpkin as he wrote
Gemstone nodded, happy about all the work they had done. "I'm hungry too! I've love a roasted bunny" bunnies were her favorite food, especially when they were roasted
"And add pictures of scorched bunnies!" Gemstone added with excitement. She was good at drawing, though she usually went through 23 quills/pens per small picture since they usually melted
"They ate all our carrots" Gemstone protested playfully, eyes shining with delight. "The bunnies brought this upon themselves"
Gemstone spread her wings as soon as she was a nice distance from Pumpkin so she wouldn't bump into him. "What are we waiting for?" she exclaimed happily
Gemstone sped by a few Seawings and Nightwings who hissed at her to slow down. She didn't seem to listen though, except she slowed so Pumpkin could catch up
Gemstone shot a glare at the Nightwings. It seemed she had caught a word they had said. Say it again. I dare you she thought fiercely, halting so Pumpkin finally caught up with her. "Some cows! Some bunnies!" she chirped happily

"Fruit? Bunnies are the only thing I eat" Gemstone laughed, her wings brushing Pumpkins for a millisecond. She was afraid she'd accidentally burn him, but her friend seemed completely fine
