Shimmer had almost forgot about her crossbreed scroll. "Ya, I like the color brown on you" she giggled

"Thanks." He said with a small chuckle. "I think it really brings out my eyes." He thought his eyes were pretty cool. They were red, one of the few things that showed his Skywing side.
"I've never seen a Mudwing with red eyes though. It's unique. I like it" Shimmer had been silently collecting all the non Mudwing features he had
"Thanks." Fox said. For a moment he was really worried about him finding out he was a crossbreed. Suddenly he felt very self conscious about his Skywing features. He had the horns of a Skywing, red webbing between his wings. It wasn't that noticeable but semi obvious at the same time.
Shimmer nodded, noticing how he seemed to randomly be uncomfortable. "Something bothering you?" She asked gently
"No. No, I'm fine." He said rather quickly. "I'm just fine." He gave her a nervous smile. He tucked in his wings closer to him. He randomly picked another scroll. "This looks interesting." He said. It read, "Mudwing Eating Habits."
Shimmer thought there was something wrong but she didn't pry. "Wow, talk about hating Mudwing's" she giggled ((Do you have Turtle?))
Fox looked at the scroll he had picked and felt very embarrassed. "Uh..." he managed. He was very discombobulated and couldn't figure out what to do. ((Yeah what's up?))
Shimmer laughed a bit, "Probably made by a Nightwing too" she pointed out
"But wouldn't a Mubwing make a scroll about a Mudwing?" Fox countered. He opened the scroll and pointed at a spot. "Watermelons. Only Mudwings would know that's our secret pleasure."
Shimmer laughed, "I'll remember that Mudwing's like watermelons" she told him
"Oh no. Now you'll have all our secrets." He teased. "What are some super secret Rainwing facts?" He asked, giving her a light poke.
"Hmm, maybe that we only ate fruit" Shimmer giggled. "Wait! I gave our SECRET SECRET!!!!! IVE RUINED THE RAINWING WORLD" she giggled, dramatically falling on the floor
Fox thought the sight of Shimmer right now was just too funny. Despite himself he ended up on the floor laughing next to her. After he got himself under control. He put his face near Shimmer's. "Wanna hear a REAL secret?" He whispered quietly.
Shimmer leaned in, "I promise I won't tell anyone!" She squeaked quietly. She smiled
"I'm no ordinary dragonet." He said in a deep, mysterious voice. He gave her look and waited to form the perfect dramatic pause. "I... can eat food twice as fast as you." He actually didn't know if this was true but he guessed it totally could be.
Shimmer pushed him playfully away. "That's not a secret! It's a lie!" She teased, wings tucked in. "I could totally eat faster than you!"
((I love how this is a competition))"No way." Fox said, standing up too. "I am the fastest eater ever. I'd beat you with my jaws tied shut." He waited a moment then added, "even though that's impossible."
"Exactly! I'd so beat you though!" Shimmer giggled, falling on the ground again. She quickly stood up
"That's like the third time you've fallen today." Fox pointed out while laughing. "Don't hurt yourself." He teased giving her a poke with his wing.
Shimmer rolled her eyes, "Falling over can't hurt you!" She paused dramatically. "Or can it?" She pretended to have a stomach ache. "My stomach! Oh nuuuuuuu"
Fox caught her before she fell down without even thinking about it. He only realized it when he saw her in his talons. He gently let her go then looked around awkwardly. He stared at the floor and tapped his talons on the ground, occasionally glancing up st Shimmer.
Shimmer's scales around her cheeks had turned red. She forced her scales to turn back to magenta, trying to hide her embarrassment. "We could get some of that 'secret food' of yours" she offered, not wanting it to be embarrassing for him
Fox looked up and smiled happily. "Watermelon?" He whispered loudly. A mischievous glint appeared in his eyes and he poked her with his tail.
Shimmer nodded, holding her talon up to her mouth in a 'ssshhhh' way. "Enemies could be anywhere, we must be careful" she couldn't help but giggle a bit
"You're right." He whispered, holding back a laugh. "Let's go, but be sure nobody sees you." He said, crouching down. "Oh!" He exclaimed almost loudly. "We need disguises." He gave her a mischievous, playful look.
"Oooo, and code names!" Shimmer squeaked, looking for scrolls. She wrapped herself up in a couple of scrolls. "I'm... The mummy!!!" She posed dramatically
"Oh very nice." Fox said. He thought she looked pretty cute hidden under all those scrolls. He looked around the library then ran over to a table and grabbed a tablecloth. He threw it over his head and ran back to Shimmer. "I'm the ghoooooooost." He said is a spooky voice.
Shimmer pretended to scream in fear. "Nobody would dare mess with us!" She giggled, trying not to loose the scrolls on her scales. "Agent Ghost, are you ready?" She asked, trying to sound serious but failing miserably
"Yes, Agent Mummy." Fox said sounding more serious but still failing pretty badly. "Let's sneak out to the eating cave." He said. He crouched down and began to crawl out of the library. ((You post somewhere?))

'ugg finly i made it i just wanted a book i shuld have come whean class was in but nooo i go now cuz im stupid welp im hear now mabay thay got some new scrols i herd moon is getting loads from the old nightwig kingdome' she thught to herself as she walked in eyeballin the studints as thay chated an read slaping a smile on her face so she blended in better as she walked to "new" shelf "nightwings are awsome", "nightwings are the best", ooo "nightwings" o here we "a epic quest of the eye of truth" that book seems good' she grabed it and alked up to starflightto take it out((that a good start or na?))
Nightstriker walked into the library with bright eyes ready to learn.
Echo nervously glanced up from her scroll about animus curses. She was sitting in the corner as usual, and hid her frown as a student walked in. She usually was antisocial, considering her siblings tried to kill her. The cursed dragonet went back to reading, hoping to not have a conversation
Nightstriker walked over to Echo with a smile. He looked at her scroll and smiled. "Are there any other copies of that?" He asked her. He had a rather large bag full of scrolls on his back.
hmm, a bookworm too she thought with a small smile. "I don't know" she admitted
Nightstriker nodded. He thought for a moment. "Could I borrow it once your done then?" He asked with a friendly smile.
Nightstriker tilted his head waiting for an answer.
Echo nodded, "It hasn't proven much use to me" she closed the small scroll, handing it to the Nightwing. Her large tail swayed behind her. "Well, I mean't for research purposes" why must you be so awkard? she asked herself silently but had a larger smile

Nightstriker smiled. "Well I might have something in here that can help you." He said rummaging through his bag.
Echo lifted her head up, curiosity glinting in her eyes. it could be dangerous she thought, her personality split. She should stay away from others, but a part of her didn't want to
Nightstriker pulled out a rare scroll on the subject. "It's a bit old but the information is still good." he said handing it to her.
"Thanks" Echo gently took the scroll. She could tell that he'd want it back in perfect condition. That was something she could handle. "Whoah, it's......." her voice trailed off, something that happened rarely to her. "It's way more helpful than that other scroll!' she chirped happily. "So, what winglet are you in?" she asked, assuming he was a student. Now fully examining him, she noticed how he was wingless.
Nightstriker looked confused for a second. He then perked up. "Oh I'm not in any winglet. I travel and study wherever I'm welcome." He said reading her scroll. He nodded then pulled out a blank scroll. He started writing down details he didn't know before.
The young Seawing nodded, feeling terrible when she shifted her wings. His first statement almost made her jump back. Strangers weren't always the most friendly, but Nightstriker seemed great
