Sastrugi can breathe out an bluish, icy fire, basically a fire so cold it burns (ever heard that saying?). He can also light things on fire too, just it'll burn cold, not hot. His tail barb will inject a dragon with icy poison, resulting in the victim being frozen and their organs being eaten away by the poison.

Sastrugi grew up with his mother, Crystalline, and the rest of the IceWing court. His best friend was Marble, and since birth, they've been inseparable. His mother raised him alone, and told him that his father was a random IceWing that she met outside the kingdom named Iceberg. Of course, he was a prince, so no one questioned his strange looks, not even his tail barb, which was so clearly a SandWing trait. Sastrugi himself never questioned it, because he had never seen a SandWing before, until he went to Jade Mountain Academy. There, he told everyone he was pure IceWing, and they laughed. Sastrugi never understood, and he hasn't, to this day, figured out that who his real father was. He also doesn't know that he's both IceWing AND SandWing royalty, or his parent's real story...

I am Sastrugi, the IceWing prince! How dare you say anything different!

࿅ ❀ || P e r s o n a l i t y || ❀ ࿅

General
❖ Sastrugi is the kind of guy that dwells on the past, the dragon that dwells on his regrets. He hates seeing previous work because he always ends up finding flaws that he should have fixed when he first made his work. He will often forget where he is and instead relive an old memory. Sastrugi experiences deja vu A LOT, and he'll see things and say, "Oh, I think I've seen that before!" but never remember why. Did I mention he's also quite forgetful?

❖ Sastrugi is big on love. He's flirty and loves romance, and likes hearing about others' relationships. He himself has never been in a, what he calls, 'real' relationship. Sure, he's had crushes but they've never really been serious. Sastrugi is kind of a wanderer, and hasn't given up his heart fully to any one dragon yet...

❖ Sastrugi does not like the sight of blood. It makes him feel uncomfortable, resulting in him always trying to reason with others. He also doesn't like conflict, but enjoys finding solutions. He's a puzzle-solver kind of dragon. As royalty, it's also kind of his job to work out other dragons' problems, so he'll sometimes nose in and follow the conversation, then give his input even when no one wants it. He LOVES compromise, always trying to make both parties happy as possible.

❖ Sastrugi doesn't mind mess. He says he doesn't have OCD, but he kind of does in a way. He likes correcting other dragons, because to him, it's almost like an accomplishment, like he helped someone out. Sastrugi also likes being the hero in any situation, but enjoys reading about villains the most. He likes being in control, the one controlling the situation and the one in power. But even when he isn't the one in control, he's okay with that.

❖ Sastrugi's a big procrastinator, always putting off things until the last moment if possible. He likes doing things 'later', which to him, is never unless someone remembers. He'd like to forget past mistakes, but they always seem to come back to him at the worst times, like when he's trying to study. Sastrugi is clever and a bit lazy when it comes to homework, so he'll do the minimum if it's something he doesn't like, but over the top if it's something he does like so that he doesn't have to do the thing he doesn't like.

❖ Sastrugi tries to trust everyone. He believes that everyone has good in their hearts, that they have love and compassion deep down. This is what drives him to try and help everyone, and probably also why he loves reading about villains. He's a very valiant dragon, and tries to do the right thing, follow the law, etc. But if he thinks the law is wrong, don't go and assume he'll follow blindly. Sastrugi will disobey the law if he doesn't find it fair and right, and will attempt to fix it in any way he can.

Hi Moon

I was wondering about Mercy so she seems extremely like Sastrugi and has the same 'i'm pure ___ not a hybrid hybrids are weird' kind of mindset and the same kind of template as I specifically make for my own OCS with the spacing between the letters and the characters/emojis, the origin of the name, the picture on the top, and the quote right below the picture and quotes throughout the template and the bolded titles, etc.

I kind of made Sastrugi to be special in the way that he thinks he's pure icewing but he's really not, and I feel that Mercy is similar to him in a way that makes me feel like its kind of making him less special than what I intended him to be.

your template also shares many similarities to mine, and I specifically say "Please don't steal / copy / copyright / plagiarize / cut and paste anything in this post, including the template, any part of the character, etc. I am very proud of all my characters, and I will not hesitate to report you if you copyright them. All rights reserved. Thanks." because this template and all of my dragons are really special to me and I don't feel comfortable with other people taking stuff from them. I would really appreciate it if you could perhaps change your template and character just so that it doesn't seem like you're copying me

❖ Leopard is sly and cunning, and his grin reflects that. Mothers, keep your children away from this dragon. He's nothing but trouble, but if you know him, he's a huge sucker for romance. He's a daredevil, and risks are his drug. He loves the thrill of the chase, and often brings Mercy with him on his adventures. He has an unstaitable thirst for these types of dangerous adventures, and this often lands him in trouble. But he always escapes it, don't worry.
