Frost covered scales would mean she'd be cold to the touch and basically it'd be Icescales. (Her appeared did say that the frost protected her from any fire and lava)

Dragonet:Lightning was always the odd ball. Even though he looked like his mother and father, he had neither of their personalities. They were both ruthless, and nonloyal. Frankly, they hated eachother, and trusted nobody. Her mother was part of Hawk’s trial to see if he’d be in prison. Skye’s vote was the one that sent him on his way to death. Lightning was close to Breeze from the beginning.

Meeting Breeze
I slowly tucked in my wings, landing on a vivid red and orange platform. I could see red scales flashing in the distance. Three moons, was the queen fighting one of her advisers again? I quickly rushed over, only to find a red scaled dragonet fighting a full grown red Skywing. The dragonet had him pinned to the ground but was thrown off. I wanted to run and help her, but soon recognized the dragons broad face. Hawk was fighting a dragonet? But why? I leaned in, hearing Hawk shriek in surprise. The dragonet had thrown dust in his eyes, blinding him. She whirled around, slamming her tail on his neck so Hawk fell. She didn’t hesitate at all to put her claw to his throat. Her hind talons kept him wings down on the ground. I couldn’t help but be impressed. “Get off” Hawk croaked, tail lashing. The dragonet leapt off him gracefully, eyes shining. “Did I do good?” she asked him, worry in her voice. I watched her search Hawk’s eyes for approval. “Yes Breeze, you did fine” he praised, poking her with his talon. “I’m going to go get some pig, you stay here and rest” Hawk told her, spreading his wings and taking off. As soon as Hawk was out of view, I crept up behind her stealthily. Breeze was panting, eyeing some scratches. I dove at her, talons aiming for her throat in a playful matter. Immediately, she grabbed my talons, slamming me to the ground. My head swirled as it hit the ground. “Oh! I’m so sorry!” Breeze squeaked, offering me help to get up. I jumped up, “What was that for?” I asked, and she was quick to reply, “I thought you were Hawk, he likes to give me a challenge with these new fights” I nodded, staring at her. I could feel her excitement radiating off her scales like they were poisonous. She seriously was a happy dragon, nothing like Hawk, who was serious beyond belief. “I’m Lightning” I introduced, bowing. Breeze poked me, rolling her eyes, “Am I a princess now?” she asked, eyes gleaming. I couldn’t help but laugh, something about her just made me want to smile. “I’m Breeze, a pleasure to meet you!” she twirled in joy, flipping around. I adored her happiness beyond belief, it was like she was a ray of sunlight. “Can I call you Zip?” she asked randomly, tail swaying. I thought about it, what a strange question. “Sure?” my cheeks flooded with embarrassment, I didn’t want her to think that I didn’t like the nickname. Her happiness didn’t waver in the slightest, nor did her confidence. “I can tell we’ll be amazing friends!” she squeaked, grabbing my talons and leading me towards the direction Hawk went. This was going to be a fun friendship

Shortly after he met Breeze, he began to learn battle moves from her and Hawk. Then the day arrived. Amber was looking for a new champion, her old one had been killed by Bolt. Breeze and Lightning were asked to be the new champions. Breeze was quick to say yes, not really knowing the concept of being one would be like. Lightning refused quickly, thinking if he backed out of it, Breeze would. The next day, Amber called him to her throne.

Death
I took a small step into the throne room, guards glaring at me. I glanced up at Queen Amber, her gaze was filled with triumph and anger. “Lightning” Queen Amber seemed to be staring into my soul. “Queen Amber” I murmured, bowing respectfully. When I finally stood up properly, my eyes darted to a chain she was holding. My gaze followed the chain to two orange and red Skywings. Their mouths were bound, their wings filled with holes. I knew those scars. Two words escaped my lips, “Mother, father” Their eyes lifted to her. “Yes” Queen Amber smiled, yanking the chain so they’d move closer to her. “Lightning, I’m going to ask you one more time” I wish I didn’t know what she was talking about. “Will you be my new arena champion? I’ve watched you train with Breeze, and you two are just, just, amazing” my gaze harshened at the at the last sentence, “No” I replied quickly, tail lashing. My mother and father fell in a flash of light and blood. I shrieked, darting over. Guards dragged me back over to my position. “One more time, or my new champion will be the next to pay. Will you be my new champion?” my eyes stung with disbelief. Queen Amber was really making me choose between my best (and first) friend, or killing dragons. “It’d be an honor to be your new champion along with Breeze” I announced clearly. Queen Ambers eyes shone with triumph as she clapped her talons together. “We shall start the match quickly! You will fight Bolt, Lightning” she smiled.

After Lightning and Breeze killed Bolt, Lightning took the name of Lightning Bolt.
11 Years Old(Current Days): He hangs out with Breeze a lot, helping her come up with ideas of what to build. He doesn’t actually know how she builds it. Lightning enjoys comforting Breeze when she’s going through rough times.
