Janine (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejanine) | 3 comments This might not be the best place to post this, but I can't find a list of group sites. My local library often doesn't have the fiction I'm looking for. I'd like too find a discussion of the best sites to use to search fiction libraries but don't know where to look. Help?

Janine, I moved your request to the "Just to Chat" folder.

Rachel | 1527 comments How about Worldcat? https://www.worldcat.org/ You can search for a book and it will tell you which libraries hold it.

May also be worth speaking to the librarian at your local library to see if they can do inter-library loans for you? My public library does this for a small fee (I'm in the UK but I think it's fairly common worldwide).

Rachel, I never noticed that feature on Worldcat.org!
Janine, thanks for asking that question.

Waldo Varjak | 98 comments Inter-Library loands do not work in Poland. Just FYI. Worldcat is used here. But I get sent to every penny-ante library across town to pick up CDs (books in Polish are useless to me because I do not know the language). I guess this is just a travel advisory, but do not simply assume because it makes sense it is available, at least this is the case in Poland.
