Yes, even then. People who already have the book like to shelve the edition they have. If you will be republishing with a different cover and the same ISBN, an alternate cover edition can be made so that the new cover is also available. When the alternate cover edition has been created, you, as author, can designate which edition is the one that comes up first under search.
