Isabelle Kellezi In the novel Just Listen by Sarah Dessen there is a lot of external conflict with all of the main charcters. External conflict is when a character is physically fighting with another character and it can be both verbally or violently (usaly in this book it is not violently). For example, "The moment I started to feel a little better or have a half decent moment she's right there to make sure it doesn't last." This quote is explaining how Anabel feels becuase she's in a fight with her best friend. This is external conflict becuase they're actualy fighting with each other. All in all one of Anabels big external conflicts is that she's fighting with Sophie.
