Vincenzo Spiniello In this book, I noticed an external conflict which is an obstacle outside of someone that takes place. When Two-Bit, Ponyboy, Johnny, Marcia, and Cherry see the socs pull up, there is an external conflict. Cherry and Bob argue with each other because Bob was drunk. I am saying that they are obstacles towards one another.

Josh Fader I also think that another exernal conflict is when Darry slaps Ponyboy.
