Setting up the Book Pool, PIFM, and You Pick I Pick for July and sending a message now!!

So, I though of a neat challenge we could do next month (or whenever, really). What about a "5 Star" Challenge, where we pair people up and they choose a book to read that the other person has read - but the catch is that the person must have rated it 5 stars.

Sound any good?

One of us needs to put up the discussion threads for this month's group reads. I'm on my iPad right now, otherwise I would. If you can't get to it tonight! I'll try to do it tomorrow. :3

Oh, and we should totally have a review writing contest at some point. I need some motivation to write reviews for my blog. Lol!

We should do a review writing contest in August- why don't we try to set up some different fun prizes like most reviews, funniest reviews, longest reviews, etc.

And sure- I'll get the discussion threads right now!

And maybe the winner's can each pick a BOTM? (We can always spread that across multiple months). Not really sure what else we could do...

We should probably send out a nice big message this weekend, and we can also do a readathon! But what else?

Maybe do a raffle copter or something like it, then give a cheap kindle book from Amazon? I can pay for it this time, if that interests you.

Great idea!!! And I cna say you the money because a publishing company (most famous for miss peregrines home for Peculiar children) contacted me regarding giving free books to my groups! So once I sort out the details with him we can have a huge raffle!

When do you think would be a good time to have a a Read-A-Thon?

I think maybe we should have it the first weekend of August or the last one of July?

Whichever one is more convenient for you. I work at a department store, so I'll be super busy both those weekends with back to school sales and all that. So I prolly won't be on that much. But I'm sure you and Jessica can do well without me. I can check in and say hi, but that'll prolly be about it. I'll be ready to fall into bed when I get off work. XD

If you want we can do it later than that. Otherwise we can do first week of August. And that makes sense :P

Hey, I was wondering if the challenges could possibly be open for people to join earlier.
I just noticed that the monthly challenges don't really open up until the last few days of the month, which doesn't give much time for people to enter the challenge.
Maybe have them open in the last two weeks of the month?

Lol, that's fine with me. I just didn't know if we'd want to mix it up or anything. I'd love to do the Copy Cat Five Star challenge at some point, but it doesn't have to be in August.

I'm not sure what that is, but if you want we can do that and I can delete the PIFM and keep the other two? or we can do all 4?
