Book Lists

I always think I will never have the list with me when I am shopping. I usually keep my Amazon wish list with the books I want or need for series. This helps me out a lot of the time.

I just have one written down on paper and I go through it every few weeks and either add or take away books. And I write down prices to try and find the best ones.

I've had this problem for a while, and been going through various methods to try and solve it - from Excel files, to Shelfari (website), to Book Crawler (iOS app). Right now though, I've decided to settle with Goodreads; hence, I've actually been fixing my bookshelves here, while fixing my bookshelves at home as well. XP Let's hope this method works out for me! XDD

I use Goodreads, too lol! I used to have lists, in a journal I kept just for that...I found it the other day lol! Goodreads is much easier though!
I have a list here on goodreads, inadition to handwritten ones.

I am very meticulous on Goodreads about the books I've read but need to be better about the books I own. I bought a duplicate the other day thinking I owned a different book by that author. I got home and... same book, just a different cover. Whoopsies. :)

That little app on my phone has saved me a few times lately! But sadly, I didn't list the books I own but haven't read. Next project! ;)
I have been doing it because otherwise I either pass up books I'm not quite sure if I just want or if I already have or get duplicates of books I already have because I don't want to pass up a really good deal
Anybody?
