She's just cute and full of wonder. If you think her talking is annoying, put the book down now lol

I didn't think she talked too much, because everything she said was cute and imaginative. And she did learn to moderate it.

She wasn't afraid to be herself, which if you consider her life pre-Green Gables, is saying something. Most would withdraw, but Anne didn't; she LIVED and shared the wonder of life with those around her. She's a great example. :)

I read this with daughter, as I read it the behavior reminded me of ADHD. My daughter also has ADHD. Even the pace of Anne's dialogh seemed very similar as talking to my daughter. It was good for her to see the behavior in a positive light.

I didn't think she talked too much. She was a child who liked to vocalize her imaginings. It was sweet. Would you rather she sulk alone in a corner? I like chatty little kids. I think it shows off positive qualities.

Anne's dialogue is outrageous and very funny. Her chattering shows her loneliness and how she longs for someone to listen to her and care what she has to say. If you notice in the book, as she gets older and more accepted in the community, she talks less and she uses fewer ridiculous words.

I thought it was funny at first and then it got on my nerves because it went on and on and on and on.

I probably would have liked it better if I'd read it when I was younger.
