Oh well, it was a fantastic book, and maybe someone will want to read it from my post.

A shame though that all the good books nominated, (ev..."

Yes, we'll create a new group named Latecomers club. ;)

Danny Tyran (danny_) | 31 comments I've not voted still and I don't know if I will. None of my favorite books among those suggested are in the list. :(

message 55: by Connie (new)

Connie (connieru1) | 6 comments I nominate: "The Spectrum Conspiracy by Craig Faris.

A fast paced novel of intrigue and action that entices the reader to disappear into the story. I hated that it ended but what a great ending.

The Spectrum Conspiracy

H.M. Jones (hmjoneswrites) | 5 comments I would like to nominate Dicing Time for Gladness by Austin Scott Collins. A steampunk, feminist literary adventure. Enjoyed it a lot.

If you read message 48 on page 1 of this thread, you'll see that the nomination period is finished. It didn't even last one complete day (here one day is 24 hours). ;)

Usually when a nomination period is finished, the thread is closed, but not here apparently.

message 58: by Deborah (new)

Deborah (brandiec) Among the Shrouded, one of the May BOTM selections, is currently on an Amazon Kindle Countdown deal. It's $1.99 for another day, so now's the time to grab it for the group read.

message 59: by Tompopaageo (new)

Tompopaageo Just a quick question to satisfy my curiosity. I noticed that the two books are May BOTM reads weren't nominated by anyone in this thread, I'm presuming other members nominated them by email. If there's a twenty book limit shouldn't those books nominated via email be added to this thread so we're not wasting our one vote on something that has already been nominated in this way?

message 60: by Tompopaageo (new)

Tompopaageo I also noticed that The Wells End only received one vote but it's still been chosen as BOTM is it not the books with the most votes that get chosen or is one of them a random choice?

Some people email nominations for the BOTM. As I receive those, I add them to the list.

One book is chosen by popular vote, the other is chosen by the moderators from the nominated list.

I apologize for the frustrations and confusion with this month's BOTM program. Changes will be instituted next month to ease these concerns.
