Remedy for once was torn between slapping him and just leaving. She looked at him intently as she said softly, "Our son won't have your fate." It was meant to be reassuring but it might have come off as slightly dark and foreboding. Rem then sat up and held her belly. "I hate that your so hard on my grandmother and our son. He did nothing wrong except flap around a few metres. He didn't even break anything." Rem said as she looked into the distance.

"He's a baby with powers. What did you expect? And Esme will be the same. We never..... I never should have had them." Remedy replied softly as she looked at her current large belly. She was utterly sad. She knew Bones tensed up and she felt like she was walking on egg shells around him. Besides, Eric was fine and he had done good. She just sighed and stared at the darkness around them.

Remedy just watched as Bones left. She debated about going after him but then that might make him mad. They might fight more. Well, she felt like she hadn't done much fighting and she sure didn't feel like a winner. She just felt like a loser. She then thought that not going might piss him off more. But going might do the same. She didn't want to get into a huge argument. She just sighed as she started crying. She then got up and walked inside. She was beginning to think it was over for good. Things were so different now then in the beginning.

Remedy walked inside the house. She then was about to head upstairs but stopped as her eyes eclipsed. She had a vision. It was blurred and not wasn't coming off well. Her mind was utterly open by the shock so Bones saw everything as well. It looked like their bed. Bones was there and so was Poppy and Marie. Rem lay on the bed. There was blood everywhere as a baby cried in the distance but not in view. Rem's stomach was torn open like when Bones had bitten Eric out of her. Only she wasn't healing and panic was rife in the air. And then there was so much blood it seemed. Then the vision faded as Rem sank down and slumped against the stairs. Her nose bleeding as she started seeing black.

Bones stood up and went to find Rem, knowing how visions effect her. He found her on the stairs and frowned. He picked her up and brought her upstairs to their room. He laid her on the bed and then bit into his wrist. He put it to her mouth and worked her jaw so she was swallowing. "I'm sorry Rem" he said, tears still slowly sliding down his cheeks.
"Don't be." Rem said after a moment and took his wrist. She swallowed a little bit before removing her mouth and licking the wound clean. She smiled up at him. "It was Esme's birth... Didn't you hear her?" Rem asked as her eyes started fluttering.

"Was that what I was doing?" Rem murmured softly as she was lapsing into an unconscious state. "Stress? You should go fishing then... Don't men always go on some silly sporting retreat when their stressed? You can go with Ian or Gary or Spade.... There's still time before Esme comes." Rem offered as she yawned and snuggled into the bed, her nose having already stopped bleeding.

"Yeah..." Rem murmured before the darkness took her. Well at least she didn't faint outright this time. Then again she was fainting all week so that was a bit of a mute point. She settled back as she rested peacefully and hoped Bones would get better.

The next morning Rem woke up and headed to the bathroom. She showered and dried off. She combed her hair and brushed her teeth. She then got dressed in a yellow dress with white stripes. She also got her knitted sweater on and her green socks. She almost looked like she was dressed as a giant breathing flower. She then threw her dirty clothes in the hamper and made her out of the bathroom and the bedroom to downstairs where she got herself some blood and raw meat before going upstairs to check on Eric. As she thought he was still asleep. She smiled and returned to her and Bones's bedroom where she took his foot and started rubbing it soothingly as she sat at the edge of the bed.

"Oh dear. This was supposed to be relaxing..." Rem said as she let his foot go. "Sorry love." She said with a frown as she had wanted to make him wake up relaxed, not excited and tickled. Maybe she should sleep with him? That should get him all relaxed...in a sense? She sighed. No. As much as Bones would enjoy it sex couldn't solve anything. She then smiled small. "Want some breakfast in bed?" She asked instead. She really was trying hard to make happy.

"No it's not enough. I only make you stressed. No. You should have a weekend away. What did you normally do back in the day? Go fishing? Barbecuing? Hiking? Strip Clubs are out of the question so forget that... Um..." Rem bit her lip as she tried to think of something else.

Rem laughed before shaking her head. "Gregor is comatose. Anso is dead. Lexi and Rhydian are off our backs since I made that deal with them. The werewolves were never our enemy. What does that matter? And that really is about all. But we're safe here." Rem replied as she caressed Bones's temple.

Rem sighed and fell backwards onto the bed. She was thinking small. Not big like Bones was. "Well." She started and then stopped as she didn't know what to say to that. It was all a bit much. But Rem only focused on the day to day worries. She was young like that but it was what kept her brave and strong. She sighed and rubbed her belly.

Rem stuck her tongue out at him. "Except me and the babies you mean since now your all Mr. Super Perfect." Rem said and then grinned. She then chuckled as she got up and out of bed, already a little creakiness. She then sighed and rubbed her belly while her other hand was on her back. "Not long now until our little girl comes." Rem said as she smiled down at Bones.

"Me too." Rem said as she smiled and nodded. Then she smiled small as she stepped forward and cupped Bones's cheek. "Don't worry about it. It was a very unclear vision. As far as I am concerned it was a vision showing our daughter's birth." Rem said soothingly as she then smiled properly and headed downstairs to get Bones a bottle of blood.
The next instant Eric came flapping into the room. His feet and arms dangling again. Only he wasn't awake. He was sleep flying with a highly acute internal compass. He sort of looked ridiculous with these tiny wings and the way he flutter through the air. Like a small baby shaped bug. He then zipped over to Bones and landed on his chest before curling small and snuggled into Bones, his little hands flat on his chest.

Eric smiled in his sleep. His little wings folded neatly before he yawned hugely. He started blowing bubbles in his sleep. Happy that everything was okay again.
Rem came back with a bottle and saw Eric on Bones's chest. Had he gone and collected him? Then she realised what that zipping sound was. Eric sounded like a buzzing fly when he was flying. "He didn't?" Rem asked knowing it was true as she stepped into the room. She then handed Bones a bottle blood as she took Eric so he could sit up, careful of his new appendages.

Remedy chuckled. "Your horrible." She said lovingly. She looked down at Eric and smiled, nuzzling his head. "Mmmm, maybe Marie can help curb his powers?" She murmured more or less to herself as she noticed Bones finish the bottle quickly. She frowned and looked worried. "You that thirsty?" She asked him.

Gary woke up and wen straight to the laboratory where Marie was. He looked at her expectantly
Rem just laughed. "He has perfect control that's the problem!" She said as she went and sat beside Bones and rested her head against his chest.
Marie was up early, starting on the potion again. "Your starting to get obsessed." She said as her heart rate was back to normal... Thanks to a spell...

Gary nodded slightly, "Yeah I do that. You'll get used to it" he said. "Now please tell me what's going on" he said. "You don't have to be so secretive all the time."
Rem nodded. She then looked rather guilty. "He gets it from me. I used to sleep walk as a child." She said as she looked down at her son and kissed his sleeping head.
"Oh but that's all part of my charm." Marie replied with a highly annoyed smile.

"Yes that's true" Gary said with a small smile. "But come on now. Your heart rate might be normal now, but yesterday it was unstable. Somethings wrong, and you need to tell somebody"
"Nothing is wrong!" Marie replied as she then walked over and turned Gary around, physically pushing him out of her lab and shutting the door. Locking it as well. It was also spell proof so he couldn't get in.
Remedy just smiled. "Too many to count and name." She said as she leaned forward and kissed Bones. She then pulled away when little Eric woke up and was immediately hungry for his bottle.

"God damn it Marie" Gary said and slammed his fist against the door. "Bloody women" he muttered before yelling. "Like I said before, you'll have to kill me before I give up on this. I know you're lying, and that somethings wrong. Even if your stubborn ass won't tell me what it is" he said before walking away from the door and going back to his room.

Remedy smiled. "Thank you hun." Rem said as she took the bottle, not checking the temperature since she knew Bones did. She then gave the bottle to Eric and he instantly started feeding. He clapped his hands and drinked happily as he was still a little tired. He had been allowed to play alone without supervision for far too long. So he was a little tired still.
Marie sighed and stood back, placing her hands onto the table as she gasped for air. Sweat dripping down her brow. "Dammit, too much energy....." She muttered softly to no one. She then sighed and stood straight, collapsing back. What she wasn't telling anyone was that the potion she was working on was forbidden and as the practitioner worked, their life force would be drained, ultimately killing them.
Remedy sighed and handed off little Eric to Bones. "Your turn for once." She said instead as she gave the bottle to him without it leaving Eric's mouth. She felt guilty since Bones practically never feeds their son. "I'm going to go and ask Marie about that power blocker." Rem said as she headed off upstairs and expecting to be back in fifteen minutes at most.
Rem made her way out of the bedroom before walking down the hall and heading upstairs to the third floor. She then walked up to the lab's door and raised her pale small hand up as she knocked on the door. "Marie? I want to ask you something if you don't mind?" Rem asked. After several moments of no reply she scrunged her face and thought about leaving but something in her gut nagged at her like that day the junkie shot off his gun. She then turned the knob, finding that it worked and she headed inside. She however paused on the threshold as she saw her grandmother laying motionless on the floor and looking deathly pale.
"Grandma?!" Remedy shouted as she rushed over and knelt by her side. She placed a hand to her fore head and read her mind in it's entirety before she got up and started gathering herbs and such while she sobbed fiercely, not wanting to lose her cookie grandmother. Soon Remedy stood before the cauldron and started dropping things into it, trying to break the spell while it was still possible and save her grandmother. She threw in some sage. Basus! *Lighting sounds* She then threw in some gold dust. Masistron! *Lightning sounds again* Lastly she threw in a red lizard's tail. Dissemo! *Lighting goes off throughout the skies* Remedy's eyes then shifted completely white as the cauldron started to glow, the potion and it's layers of spells breaking.
The white light erupted from the cauldron and the whole room was disintegrated in a massive explosion that shook the whole house. When it was over the room was gone along with everything in it. Remedy and Marie lay below on the ground as the wind swept through the hole on the third floor. Rem was pale and so was Marie. They were both barely alive as Eric pushed his bottle away and started screaming his lungs out. A symbol appeared on Rem's right hand.

Bones stood up and looked out the window when the sound of lighting repeatedly went off. He thought it was out of the blue but didn't really think anything of it. Until the house shook and a room disappeared from the house that is. Then Eric started screaming meaning something was terribly wrong. He quickly ran to Spade's room and past Eric off to him. "Watch him" he said simply and ran to Rem's side. He bit into his wrist savagely and put it to Rem's mouth.
Gary knew immediately what the lightening was. Well he thought he did anyway. He thought it was Marie doing so crazy ass spell that was doing her harm. So he was about to go up to the attic and try and stop her, but the room disappeared and both Rem and Marie fell down to the third floor. Gary ran to Marie's side, while Bones went to Rem. He did the same as Bones and bit into his wrist, putting it to Marie's mouth. He worked her jaw so she was swallowing.
Remedy and Marie both hadn't really fallen. Both their Hybrid powers had taken over and safely teleported themselves down to the garden on the ground since if they hadn't... Well they would both be gone along with the room. Esme was safe too, having placed a shield around herself, Rem doing the same and all without realising it. Rem took Bones's wrist as she fed. She might not have been harmed from the blast but activating her long lost heritage of being an Earth Priestess really knocked the wind out of her. But other then being weak she and Esme were fine. She started swallowing by herself and soon finished. Though her hand did fall back as she remained unconscious.
Marie on the other hand was not so lucky. Sure her Hybrid powers had saved her but she was extremely weak from performing the Forbidden Spell. Hence why it was forbidden. It sidled the life energy from it's practitioner slowly and bit by bit. The user needed to be strong but all who ever used the spell in the end died. Of course there was a cut off time, a golden time to stop the spell in it's tracts before it proved fatal. Once this point was reached and surpassed the outcome was inevitable. Marie was only lucky in this sense since she had started running out of energy and the spell started going slower, hence leaving Rem enough time to stop it. But now she was weak and drained. So she remained unresponsive but alive. She would be severely weak for some time yet.

Gary continued to fee Marie his blood, working her jaw so she was swallowing. After a while he pulled it out though and picked her up. He brought her inside and to her room. He laid her on the bed and then started feeding her his blood again.
Remedy remained still. She breathed slow and deep as her heart rate remained stable. Her face was the normal vampire pale along with her unique peach hues. She moved her hand to her belly but other then that remained asleep which she was now. Bones could easily tell by her brain waves she was stable and safe.
Eric teleported from Spade's surprised grasp and onto Rem's belly. He was on his stomach on hers. He still had some tears and a whimpering face but as soon as he saw his mother he smiled and giggled. Mama! Eeemmmmeee! He said happily as he then snuggled up against her belly, his one hand open and flat against Rem's belly.
Marie's colour after sometime finally improved. She lay still and pale on the bed as she continued being out cold and unresponsive. She however moved her head away at some point when she became full from Gary's blood. Now any more would make her unwell. But that was all she did. Her heart remained unstable as she breathed fast and shallow.
Poppy came into the room after checking on Remedy. She was sure that she and the baby where okay but now it was Marie's turn. She took her vitals and frowned. She then placed her on an iv drip with regular fluids and the special vampire cocktail packed with vitamins and minerals just for vampires along with a blood unit. She also injected Marie with a medicine to correct her heart rate. She then left knowing there was nothing more to be done but telling Gary to keep an eye on her.

Bones smiled when Eric appeared on Rem's stomach. He sat down next to them and just looked. Then Poppy came in and checked on them. She said they were fine so he relaxed even more and laid down next to them.
When Marie moved her head away, Gary pulled his wrist away from her mouth, knowing she was full. Then Poppy came in and did her thing. Gary watched her carefully and nodded slightly when she told him to watch over her.
~Five Hours Later~
Esme was awake. Bones would know this since Eric was speaking in baby again as he lay on Rem's stomach and looked down at her belly. They seemed to be talking about the explosion from the facial expressions and wide variety of noises Eric made. He was also behaving himself. Not taking off or teleporting.
Poppy and Ian had gone to work and boarded off the gone section of house since there was a heavy storm brewing outside. The sky was dark as thunder and lightning sounded repeatedly and it haled and rained fiercely. With the section safely secure they went back to their room and reflected on the crazy day so far.
Remedy finally stirred. She firstly moved her head before moaning softly and then yawning as she blinked her blue grey eyes open, the blue more prominent then the grey now. She turned her head and saw firstly Eric on her stomach as she smiled and tousled his head of snowy white tufts. Then she turned her head again as she rubbed her eyes and saw Bones. Her smile brightened as she saw him. "Hey." She said softly and with a slightly dry throat before frowning and sitting up slightly, not all the way because of Eric. "Granny?" She asked frightened.
Marie remained out of it. Her pulse and breathing finally normalized and stabilized after three hours but she remained pale and unresponsive. She looked dead in a way as she laid there peacefully. Her mind in the darkest recesses of her mind. She however was aware of a presence. She didn't realise it was Gary though. Crazy fool really did seem obsessed now. Her hand though after another two hours finally did move. Curling around Gary's softly and weakly.

Gary watched over Marie for hours, though for a lot of that time he was sweeping the wavelengths for more on that hybrid stuff. When Marie took his hand though he smiled and looked down at her. He squeezed her hand lightly.
"Why am I not reassured?" Remedy asked softly as she started tearing up. She then covered her mouth with her hand as she wept. "I went up to ask about the power blocker for Eric. The door was closed, I knocked but she didn't answer so I knocked again. When she didn't reply I got... I got mad at her! Then I turned the knob and found that the door was open and I stepped inside and I... I saw her laying there! I thought she was dead and I was mad at her for not opening the stupid door! I... I rushed over and checked her. She was alive and I searched her memories. The spell came over vague but the repercussions of using it weren't and I saw how to stop it and I got up and I did. The light was so bright it felt like it might just... make me disappear and I guess I teleported and so did she since I remember feeling two drifts. If she hadn't... I just left her there on the floor to stop the spell I didn't even move her!" Remedy recounted as she sobbed. Blaming herself for something that never even happened.
Eric smiled when he saw his mother awake but was now frowning and patting her belly as he watched her crying. Not understanding her explanation so much and really it was for the best in a way. He then shifted a bit and looked at Bones. Hoping his father could comfort his weeping mother.
Marie didn't respond afterwards. She just remained unconscious and stable. It would take a long time for her to recover and the secret she was keeping wasn't helping her either.

Gary just sat with Marie, holding her hand.
