Gary bit into his wrist and put it to Rem mouth. He worked her jaw so she was swallowing. It turns out that Bones was in his line. Mean one of the vampires he turned turned another and another and so on, til it came to Ian, who changed Bones. Sure Bone's new sires where Rem and Gregor, but Gary blood should still be very helpful. Not as good as Bones's, but close. The closer the better of course though. But since Ian was in a cell he's not much help.Bones mind went blank a little after he went blind. He had used to much energy trying to fight Rem's telekinesis, and he was still being hurt by Lexi's spell.
Rem's eyes shot open. They were pitch black. She shot up and sunk her small fangs into Gary's neck. She grasped his arms as she fed. Her eyes closed as she drank his rich ancient blood. She made soft suckling noises while she did so but not the soft moans she made when feeding from Bones. It was different with Bones.
Marie gave up, there was another spell blocking foreign spells, meaning spells not recited by Lexi couldn't get through. In the next instant she was standing behind the scrawny twig and stabbed her with a dagger in her back, skewering her through and through. Then she teleported back as the girl fell to the ground, dagger still impaled. It was also enchanted and would nullify her powers for a day or so.

Rhydian was at Lexi side in a second. He pulled the dagger out carefully and carried her to their room. "Lexi, honey are you okay"
Lexi nodded slightly her wound practically healed. The bitch enchanted the dagger though. My powers are gone. I don't know for how long" she said and sat up.
Rhydian nodded slightly, "Well, we can had a few more people to our hit list then baby" he said with a cold smiled and kissed her lovingly. Within minutes they were both under the covers naked and having sex.
Rem finished feeding. She didn't want to stop but continuing would hurt Gary. She removed her fangs and licked the wound before letting him go and falling back. Her eyes instantly closing. She swallowed visibly as her mouth opened and her fangs glistened before her mouth closed again. She breathed softly as she fell into a deeper state of unconsciousness. Her body small and pale. Her wounds taking their time to heal as her cells started functioning again. "Bones....." She whispered softly.
Marie smiled. She might not have age or skill or even power on her side but then again sometimes one didn't need to have it. She went back to her potion making and starting to work on a spell to finally stop Lexi once and for all.

After a while Rhydian and Lexi were done. They just made that one a quicky. In the next second they were in front of Marie's house, and then inside the next. Rhydian ran through the halls found Gary, and before he could react he snapped neck. He also snapped the sleeping Rem's neck just as a precaution.Lexi ran up to the attic and flipped Marie's ption table or whatever, all of it's contents going through the wall with the table. "This is just a warning bitch" she hissed and then snapped Marie's neck.
Then they were gone, like they were never there at all. They didn't go back to the compound, and they weren't near by either. They ran several towns and miles away. Actually going to the next country over to their second townhouse. They weren't running, but they weren't fighting at the moment either. Also Lexi's took her spell of the weapons. She might not have her powers, but she can still break whatever spell she cast. If she hadn't, the torturing charm would start over every forty eight hours.

After a few minutes Bones woke up, regaining consciousness slowly. He slowly managed to stand up, which hurt like hell since his legs weren't completely healed. He staggered back to Marie's house and went start to the kitchen. He opened the fridge and drank several bottles of blood before going upstairs to him and Rem's room. When he saw Gary laying on the floor next to the floor, his neck broke he knew something was wrong. He rushed over to Rem, as fast as he could with his gimp legs. He pulled her close and bit into his wrist, putting it to her mouth, moving it so she was swallowing. He could feel that her neck was also broken. He just hoped she would heal.

She had failed him, again now. She was a terrible mate. She couldn't protect those she loved most. She closed her eyes and turned her head shamefully away from him. Trying to push his wrist away with a limp effort. She sobbed as she swallowed mechanically.

"I love you"Gary groaned, "Bloody hell. I really wish people would stop doing that" he muttered then slowly got to his feet. Then he picked Eric up off the bed. "I'll just take him back to his room" he said and took Eric out of the bed room and back to the nursery.

Then Rem buried her head into the crook of Bones neck. Hiding her face from him as she weakly wrapped her arms around his neck and body. She continued to sob softly as the memories of the pain flooded her. Her cells starting to flux rapidly.
"You didn't fail" Bones said firmly, and kissed her neck softly. He started to softly rub her back. "You've never failed me"Gary set Eric in his crib and then went up to the attic where Marie was. "Everything okay up here?" he asked.
"I...I did!" Rem sobbed. She hugged Bones tighter to herself as she continued to sob softly. She just wanted to protect her family. That's all she ever wanted. But she couldn't. Not as she was now. She needed to die, completely. "Bones..... I need to turn into a full vampire....." She said sadly. Knowing there was no way she could have any more children then.

Bones shook his head slightly, "No sweetie you haven't. Everything you've done as gone above and beyond." he said and kissed her cheek. Then he frowned when she mentioned becoming a full vampire. "Are you sure" he asked. "Yeah, what did you think was going to happen. You are trying to stop her" Gary said.
Rem shook her head in a no and started sobbing more. She held Bones so tightly against her there was no space now between them. She didn't want to die, not fully but she had to protect her family, she had to.

Bones shook her head slightly, "I'm sorry but I can't so it. We don't know what it'll do or if it'll work" he said. Gary was surprised by her kiss, and kissed her back for a moment before pushing her away slightly. "What was that?" he asked.
Rem slowed her sobbing. She was weak and tired. She wanted to sleep now. She wanted her family to be safe. Soon her arms around Bones sagged along with her tight hold. "I just want to protect you and Eric...." She whispered before passing out from exhaustion. She was drenched in blood.

Marie wiggled her eyebrows. "Indeed." She teased him before turning her attention to her massive spell book. She started flipping through the pages, searching for an appropriate spell to combat Lexi's magic.

"I know it's rude to ask women this and everything, but how old are you anyway?" Gary asked. Bones started to rub her back when she fell asleep.
When she started whimpering he nudged her slightly, "It's okay" he whispered in her ear softly and kissed her cheek.
Rem held him slightly tighter but continued in none the less. A moment or so later she awoke and had to bite her tongue to stop the ear bursting scream from escaping her lips. She tensed before relaxing, but only slightly. She remained tense in his arms as she laid awake but pretended to be asleep.
Marie gave Gary an arched brow look. She smirked a moment later. "A true lady never gives her age away young man." She scolded him lightly. She then stopped at an interesting page and read intently the magic inscribed there.

"Yeah, I think that's just what really old lady's say to make themselves feel better" Gary joked.
Rem couldn't fall asleep despite Bones's soothing touch. For once his rubbing her back helped not. She tried to relax and settle but couldn't. So she just closed her eyes and gave into the horrible sights.

Bones sighed and after a few minutes he gently got out of Rem's embraces, thinking she was still asleep. Then he went to the nursery to check on Eric."Eh, I've seen better." Gary said with a smirk. "And I'm guessing your like forty" he said. Then he shook his head slightly. "Anyway, what were you doing up here that the chick would want to destroy it?"
Rem had closed her eyes, pretending sleep. She laid down on the bed and just listened. She couldn't do anything else. It hurt and haunted her to much. She sighed, opening her eyes since closing them made everything worse.

Bones smiled small when he walked into the nursery and saw his son. He gently picked him up and cradled him in his arms. "Hey little guy" he said with a smile, and rubbed his son's stomach softly."Well, maybe you should just stop. The guy is older then me, and Anso, in his three thousands for sure, and the girl is in her thousands as well. I think it would be better if you just backed off. So that they don't starting killing the ones you care about" he said. "Oh and I never lie" he said.

Eric was busy making soft baby noises when Bones came into his nursery. He was luckily not that upset about earlier since Marie had cuddled with him. He saw Bones and smiled. He kicked his tiny legs and raised his arms, wanting to be picked up. He laughed happily when he was and giggling and gurgled happily when Bones rubbed his small stomach like he always did. But there was a odd glint in the tiny baby's emerald green eyes. Mama?

She instantly remembered what had happened and bolted up, heading to the bathroom where she vomited. She felt nauseous as the memories flooded her. She flushed the toilet and rinsed her mouth before laying down on the cold hard floor.

Gary rolled his eyes, "Neither am I or I wouldn't have taken Bones and gotten into this Anso think in the first place. But I really think you should focus on Anso right now. He's a bigger fish at the moment. Deal with the crazy couple later"

She hated herself for it, for making Bones worry but this was something she couldn't keep from him, not again. "Bones..... I feel sick. I close my eyes and all I see and feel is..... I threw up, I didn't sleep earlier. It's like Anso back before Eric..." She said softly. She closed her eyes and took a small breath, opening them with a cringe a moment later.

Bones took her hand and rubbed it gently, "Just let all of that stuff go. It's in the past. Don't dwell on it. Move on" he said and rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb soothingly. "Except the couple were just after Bones until you intervened and Anso is after everybody. And Gregor is after every single human down in the sewer system. And I'm sure he getting closer to wiping all of them out by now" he said.
Rem swallowed hard. "I can't. I see, I feel everything again and again. The bones being picked out of me... The smell of my skin burning, I feel the horror of knowing that is what you went through when I did nothing!" Rem's voice had gotten more and more high pitched and by the end she had screamed out the last part. She felt horrible, her mate was alive and being tortured and there she had been crying and not even taking care of Eric. She closed her eyes and covered her mouth, feeling sick again.

"Hey, that wasn't your fault. You thought I was dead. What were you suppose to do. You couldn't have known, and there was nothing you could have done anyway" Bones said, as he continued to rub the back of the hand, that wasn't by her mouth. "None of that matters though. I'm here now, and I'm alive, and so are you and our son. That's all that should matter" he said. Gary nodded slightly, "That's true, but again Rem should have just let Bones handle it. Sure he would have been in some pain, but he could have survived what ever happened to him. She couldn't" he said. "It would have stopped eventually, and what's their faces would have moved on. It's just a corrupt cop and a bounty hunter. They don't really care, but now they do because you stabbed her in the back." he said. "If you were going to stop them could have done it a different way"

It really is terrifying" he said and continued to rub the back of her hand with his thumb. "But, we can protect each other with out hurting ourselves, just let all of that pain go" he said. "Just put it in the past. Don't worry about it. I'm fine, it was nothing. I had worse done before remember" he said.
"Yeah, yeah, blah blah. I've been in love before, it's a mess and never turns out like how you want it." Gary said speaking from quite a few experiences. "But that's not the point. All I'm saying is that you should finish the Anso spell or potion before you start on the chicks."

Rem's tears fell silently. She squeezed Bones's hand and closed her eyes, nodding before cringing and letting a small whimper escape her lips. She opened her eyes and sighed. "I'm so tired..... And sad, I can't be a good mate to you or be a good mother to our son." She said softly. She turned her head to see Eric watching her with a small baby frown. She sighed and just wanted to close her eyes but every time she did all she saw and felt was what had happened to her and Bones.

She took the potion and started walking to the door but paused. "My grand daughter comes first." She said emphatically. Then she made her way to Remedy and Bones's room.
Marie entered the room and set the potion on a table before she walked straight into the bathroom. Once there she shoe'd Bones away and closed the door. She picked up Rem and helped her undress out of her bloodied clothing and into the shower to wash the dry blood off of her small pale body. While Rem stood under the water washing herself Marie went out and grabbed a pair of night clothes. A matching pair of long sleeved pants and shirt in a soft pink colour before returning to the bathroom. She turned off the water and helped Rem out and swivelled a few things around in the bathroom as Rem got dressed. She then stood there and started wiping at her already tearing eyes again. Marie came over and helped her out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. There Marie deposited Remedy into bed and walked to retrieve the potion. She came back and handed it to Rem. "Drink it, it will help." Rem looked at her and asked with her eyes why. Marie only motioned with her hand for Rem to proceed and drink the odd green liquid.
