And pretty fast too, like, little more than two months? With your busy January? What a journey!
I was planning on reading the Kane Chronicles next, (first time) if you're intrested?I think the timelines are parallel to Heroes of Olympus , Magnus Chase happens after Heroes of Olympus. I know little about either books so I am clueless["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I'm game, whenever you want. And yeah, I think so too as I saw there's some crossover short stories between Percy and Kane at one point.

There is already a buddy read thread for the entire series, though it has to be restarted. Are you down to start this month already? Or do you want to have a break from Riordan?

His books are easy to read so I'm in the mood whenever you want.

I'll ask for the series to reset on the 11th (I agree, his books are really easy to read and to fly trough)

While we're at it let's do Magnus Chase after, than wrap Apollo up right at the time when the new book releases?

That sounds like a plan. I was planning on reading all the books anyway (Trials of Apollo does come out late September, which a shame).

Awesome! Well except that September release but I think we'll wrap all these books up at around June? Then we could take a break and read up upon the trials of Apollo just before the newest release?

Yeah, that seems fine to me. I mean, we'll first read Kane Chronicles and Magnus Chase first and we'll see how far we're by then.

Awesome! Set the date whenever you want

The thread hasn't reset yet, but I had requested it for tomorrow (11th)

We might have to lower the chapters read per day, especially for the last two books (book 1: 41 chapters, book 2: 24 chapters, book 3: 22).

Sure thing, should we settle with 4?

Is fine with me. Lil fast-paced, but on the other hand, keeps me motivated to read a bit more.

I totally, completely agree with you. The Last Olympian was amazing and this book was, okay, but the final battles in the series were so vastly different (and the cast).
(view spoiler)[ I think the author wrapped up the book nicely but didn't give all the characters a chance to shine unlike The Last Olympian, in which nearly all the important cast-members (Clarrise, Grover, Annabeth, Luke, Ethan, Selena, Beckendorf) a chance to shine and be important for the plot. All that Annabeth and Percy did was shed some blood and stab some giants. (hide spoiler)]["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
