This quote means that the Americans should have just talked it out instead of hurting a lot of people. The tone is sad. Can anyone else find a quote with good tone?

In response, a quote i found that has a deep tone is “We have found you and we love you. You will never be alone." this quote has a happy tone and it is touching to see he loves him still.
