Authors need word-of-mouth and I have a big one

Hey, just throwing in my two cents.

I've found that a Q & A only works to attract new readers when it's all about the author. What inspired you to write this story? What do you hope to acheive with this story? (random example, connect with a YA audience). New readers will be attracted because they see something in common with the author. Hey, I also find rainstorms scary (another random example) and rainstorms inspired this author to write a book? Maybe I should check it out.

I agree that traditional content is important but I also want something relatable and fun. Me - I get bored with reading interviews that ask the same questions and would rather have a sense of what makes the author write what they do than how they wrote a single story.

But it'll be a mixed bag of the usual and new stuff so we'll see :)
