--LMBO about how she switched up the Port Angeles scene. Turns out the woman we see briefly in the airport actually remembers Beau...and the fact he was with a cop?!?!?! Like, seriously, did that woman have some sort of flash-memory or something? How else would she even remember him after THAT long from the airport?!?!?! It's been like...what, weeks now? Life and death ----- done (view spoiler)[ overall this was okay. Not the best but okay. I wanted more changes from the storyline and the characters. Not just the genders. I enjoyed the few small changes. I liked Baeu better than Bella. (hide spoiler)]

--Beau does an awful lot of staring in this book--and then POINTING OUT that he's doing an awful lot of staring. What, does he want to be a narrator when he grows up or something?! It's weird.
--I like that he's not (seemingly) as reckless as Bella was...but can we go ONE PAGE in Edythe's company without him staring at her like a crazy person? Please?
--McKayla's a LOT "cattier" than Mike was about the whole Beau/Edythe (Bella/Edward) thing... Mike was concerned, and let Bella know it, but he had also sort of moved on to what's-her-face by this point? Where as McKayla seems to be clinging harder... Stereotypical teenage girl with a crush? Incredibly ANNOYING. (hide spoiler)]

SO far, he hasn't once mentioned feeling insecure about his age/not being "perfect" like Edythe. 2. He's much more relaxed about preeeeetty much everything. 3. He actually has a personality?! Okay I've finished two chapters and I've decided to put this on hold. I just don't want to dedicate my time to this right now. It is odd and I didn't expect it to be a literal "find and replace" version where they just swapped names and pronouns :/ I'll probably pick it back up, but maybe when I have more time.

That's what's making me hesitate about reading it. I want too but it's virtually exactly the same. I wish she'd have bought either a brand new book out or had written a sequel to the host.

SHE NEEDS TO A SEQUEL TO THE HOST! It is killing me, honestly. But she never will because she doesn't want to kill off any major characters and she said she would have to in The Host sequel.

Life & Death is pretty much the same (so far), but I like Beau A LOT more than I like Bella and hate Edythe more than I hated Edward.

If you mean the host I really really loved it. It's just so detailed and brilliant. She took great care in developing the characters and the story line:)

@Dylan No offence, but it's kind of rude to say that. Not everyone hates Twilight, some people are big fans of Twilight. But anyway, Life & Death IS pretty much the same as Twilight (the first book). The characters are just gender-swapped ad I heard the ending is a little different (also minor differences).

But Twilight and The Host is way, way different if that is what you are asking.
