chapter 3 - (view spoiler)[There's not enough differences between this book and Twilight IMO, even the prac they do in their biology class is the same! I don't mind the character of Beau so far though. Edythe is a bit annoying, but Beau has been fine so far. And I noticed that this book is 60 pages longer than Twilight. I wonder why? --I don't know quite yet how I feel about all this. These first chapters, for the most part, are pretty much by rote the original novel (with a few teensy exceptions). I do sort of like that Beau's not nearly as ANNOYING as Bella was at the beginning of her version; it makes it easier to read from his perspective.

--I wonder how she's going to shift around the whole wolf-tribe legends, seeing as in the first book there was only ONE female wolf (Leah) and she was freaked she might be infertile... I wonder if Meyers is even going to do anything new with this plot line.
--ALSO, how is the scene in Port Angeles coming up going to be shifted to "work" with the new gender-shift? Because in the original, Bella gets stalked by some scary men and Edward drives to her rescue. I don't think Beau is going to be leary of scary women... XD
--I wish MORE had been done with this. I know she said in the preface that she didn't have enough time to write a whole new novel, but...I dunno, so far this "shift" just seems a bit blase and tacky to me. (hide spoiler)]
