This is perhaps one of the best short stories I have ever read. It has a way of creeping up on you that few short stories have replicated. I'm not sure about other writers in the group, but I typically go back to again and again short stories I like and try to use them as templates for structuring my own work.

How do you guys learn from the classics? I would love to hear back from everyone.
