Yes, he did indeed have a lot of explaining to do but the reaction was quit normal given the terms. He would of cracked a smile if the outcome hadn't of been this. "It's the after affects of the bonding, I'm afraid. The feelings will pass given time so don't worry. When we reached the border, there was a guard there, he'd only let me pass not you. However, I think it's due to the fact that I have magic of my own and in turn it woke yours faster then it was suppose to be awakened. Although it didn't help that I'm sure that you've been locking it away for the past several years, through no fault of your own. Last night, when you freaked out, that wasn't simply because you were tired. It's because you possess magic within you. An it would of taken you over at the border had I not steeped in, although in doing so my options were severally limited. While I have magic I do not and did not possess the power that it would of required to undo the spell. Only two people within the Fay community would have the hopes of doing so an one of them passed. So in the end my only true options were to make you forget the past couple of days as in to whip your memory of them an risk the plan we had set in place and everything else with doing so, or to bond. Bonding..... it causes the tattoos, the female's is always on her shoulder, an the males on the arm to show that he is no longer looking for someone to potentially form a bond with. Nor is it something dragon's take lightly. However, it was the only way that he would let you pass with me into this territory an the only way that you would make it. Once you have gained control of your magic.... if you wish to, there is a way to server the bond." It wasn't something one talked about so freely, but he also knew that when it came to how their's had come about... it wasn't something that she had much of a choice in so if she wished to in the end once her power was under check he'd cut the bond between them. By the time that Lia made it back to her small room it was going on nightfall. She had checked in on Jayden for the night but had found him still asleep and he would most likely remain so for the rest of the night. Only then after she had settled in to bed and had changed did she pull the letter from her pocket to read. Frowning though when it was only four small words. 'I know your secret.' Lia had many secrets, to hide and to keep that way. However it seemed one of the many one's she had someone had found out. Which one though and who remained a mystery to her seeing as their was no singatre at the bottom nor a letter indicating the persons name.
Aaliyah nodded her head slowly and let out the breath she was holding in. She wanted to be mad, but she couldn't. Alexander saved her life yet again. "I really appreciate you doing what you did." Aaliyah would feel bad if she severed the bond, but she didn't love Alexander and a bonding seems as if you should do with someone you love. And if she didn't sever did she love him because of the bond or of her own feelings. "It is something we will have to think about. Until then we should probably move on to the rebel base." Her eyes noticed it was dark out. "We leave in the morning." Aaliyah needed to rest. It appeared Alexander needed to rest too. Next morning Aaliyah awakened to a sleeping Alexander on the floor. He looked so peaceful. She forced herself off the bed to gather their supplies. Aaliyah made sure to be super quiet. Today's goal: find out where the Rebels hiding in the mountains. The best place to gather information were the pubs. "mutantur species mea"Aaliyah muttered under her breath. Her cascading red locks turned into a platinum blonde. Her blue eyes shifted into a purple. Aaliyah remembered her mother teaching this spell for emergencies only. It was crucial no one knew who she really was.
Instead of waiting for Alexander to awaken she went off on her own to a pub. She walked in to find a bunch of people drinking. "Hello boys." Aaliyah sat down on a bar stole. "I would like whatever they are having." All the men first glanced at her applaud, but amazed as she chugged the sweet liquid.
"A human." Someone said as statement while handing her another drink.
"She drinks like a Fairy." Said someone else.
"What and who I am is my secret." Aaliyah didn't realize how dangerous the situation was because she kept drinking. "Whoever can tell me the information I need to know. I will tell who I am." Aaliyah had a habit of jumping into dangerous situation.
"And what information is that darling." A creature hunter whispered down her neck.
"Where the rebels are hiding." she whispered.
"In the mountains near the dragons." Aaliyah crawled on the hunters lap. "Now what sort of magic are you hiding." As he handed her another drink. Aaliyah giggled as the hunter started touch her.
*****
Jaydon woke up screaming. Aaliyah was in trouble. He clenched his bed sheets. He had to stay here. "You have to stay here." he whispered to himself. Jaydon knew his sister got herself into trouble again. She always went off into dangerous situations and places as child. A few days ago their life was some what normal. It angered him, which subdued the feeling of protecting.
Jaydon knew Alexander would protect his sister, but it didn't completely comfort him. Jaydon had to go speak to his father. He got dressed and walked to the King's study.
"Come in."
"Hello, your majesty." Jaydon bowed.
"What do you want?"
"I want to go investigate the explosion. I have reasons to believe it was magical and the rebels."
"And what's that son?"
"Because it is the same explosion that happened when mother died. I need to murder them father." Jaydon's eyes shown pure revenge.
"I see." The King smile. His son was going to become a big pawn. "Okay. My adviser will come with you." His adviser was going to see if Jaydon had any magical powers like his mother.

Alexander woke, some time later sensing through the bond that she was not within the house nor near it. However, he figured that to be the case seeing as he hadn't heard a lot of moving about. Heading to head out the door of the house an into town. In the small amount of time that he had known Aaliyah he had also come to the conclusion that she tended to somehow always mange to get herself into danger. No matter what it may be. Plus the feeling that he was getting in the pit of his stomach said his line of thinking was right. Heading to the first pub he had come across. Walking in an looking around. Mostly men. One women though, taking her in.. she didn't look like the girl he'd met and saved countless times so far. But something.... ah. Her voice. Yes. She might of changed her appearance to the outside world for her safety. But, her voice would forever stay the same. Hearing it now as he crossed over. "Layla, there you are! I was wondering where you got to," He told her pretending as if he had been a few shops over an hadn't seen her leave. Lia hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. The note had kept her awake most of the night and early into the morning hours, considering who had left the note for her to find an then the part of what secret they knew. That bothered her the most. She kept who her mother was secret for the fact that if anyone should know they may kill her as well. Then there was the little fact that she was working with the rebels... which could in the end also get her killed. Then there was the one that she kept under the rug most of all. She had been careful to safe guard the secret her whole life. That while she may not have much in the way of powers she had enough that anyone would consider her a threat. An even some now that she refused to even think about in fear it may show on her face. So, no matter what secret the person thought they knew about her... any one of them could get her killed should they fall into the wrong hands. Sighing as she dragged herself out of bed to began on her day. She'd worry on this more later.
"Alexander." Aaliyah giggled. She tried running to him, but the hunter would not let her go. Aaliyah's giggles stopped. "Let go of me." "No." The hunter said. "You are going to come with me."
Aaliyah titled her head. "If you don't let me go on the count of three. I will kill you." Without hesitation she grabbed her sword and pointed on his stomach. "It's not nice to take advantage of drunk girls."
"You aren't going to kill me."
Aaliyah grinned. "You're right. I am going to do something much worse.
Adolebitque a intus ex The hunter's body started to burn from the inside out. "Oh by the way I am a Princess."
"You said you were going to tell me who and what you are?" The hunter hissed through the pain.
"I did." Aaliyah ran to Alexander and giggled. "Wasn't this fun." With a snap of the finger she stopped the Hunter's body from completely burning. The hunter started to run after her. "I didn't want to have kill you." The hunter looked her in the eyes.
"Dragon you are a dragon. You have a dragon's essence." The hunter said. Aaliyah laughed.
"I'm not a dragon." Aaliyah said throwing her sword into his chest. The hunter quickly died. Aaliyah retrieved her sword and walked out the bar. "Alexander. I was perfectly fine. You didn't have to ruin it." Aaliyah was a little too drunk to realize what just happened or how bad the situation was. "Apparently the rebels camp is . . ." Before she could finish the sentence someone teleported them to the Rebels Camp.
"You are looking for us?" A voice said in the darkness. "You almost led a very powerful hunter to the us and the last dragons civilization. Explain why we shouldn't kill both of you."
Aaliyah didn't know what was happening. She used too much magic for a beginner. She didn't even realized she used magic. There was too much going on. On top of being drunk. "Please. . ." Aaliyah emptied the contents of her stomach on the ground.
"Calm her down. Dragon. Now." The voice was an Elder Dragon.
The King smiled. "You will set off tomorrow. Feel free to bring anyone you feel necessary. Don't forget to bring back any magical creatures or rebels. Dead or alive."
Jaydon nodded. "Thank you, your Majesty."
"Son."
"Yes, father."
"There are some rebels in the castle. If you hear anything let me know."
Jaydon nodded. "I will bring you their dead bodies." Jaydon walked away. His father was onto them or someone else. Whatever the case may be he needed to warn Lia. "Margret send for Lia. Tell her to come to my chambers now. And Margret stop ease dropping into my conversations with his majesty. Next time I will make sure you never can hear another conversation again." Jaydon walked off to his room.
Margret rant to Lia and explained everything to her.

Alexander hadn't expected.., well this. For starters. Wondering just how much magic she held within herself that she didn't even know she had. Going to stop the whole thing before it got worse, only then she had killed him an they had been transported. By who and how though he did not know. Looking around an taking it all in, before spotting the Elder Dragon. He had thought that they had all vanished or at the very least been killed off. Giving a respective nod before going an holding her hair back an starting to clam her down once her stomach had been emptied. "You okay? ... You gotta calm down. shhh.." Lia had been busy with her chores for the morning, when Margret had found her and explained the situation. Assuring the older women that she'd be back to finish up as soon as she could. Reaching into her pocket an clutching the note from the night before as she hurried to Jayden's room. Knocking once before entering. Giving a quick curtsy as she entered. "You requested me?"
Aaliyah curled into Alexander. His voice soothed her. Aaliyah's glamour dropped. "A faeiry bond to a Dragon. Quite interesting indeed. The first 24 hours of a bond are the most crucial. As you know Dragon. You should be sleeping not moving around."
"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened back there. I don't know why I did what I did. . . I need your help. I need the Rebels help. I need to over throw the King. I believe if we can do a whole magical war. We can succeed." Aaliyah whispered tiredly.
"You my dear child have a lot too learn. And so do you Dragon. Before you start a war. " The Elder walked away leaving them in the darkness. Two people walked in ready to lead them to their quarters.
"I need you to start a fire now." Jaydon snapped as he was writing a note explaining everything to Lia. He would then hand Lia the note to burn it. "Margret must stop listening into other's conversations. It would be a shame if the King would have caught her." Jaydon finished the letter. "I need you to start preparing for a trip. I am leaving tomorrow. You're not allowed to come. It will be too dangerous."

Yes, the first 24 hours were the most important in any bond. However if she didn't wish to keep it... then it wouldn't really matter. Seeing as the first 24 hours were more times then not spent learning everything you could about the other and vise versa. But they also didn't have the time for that. Wondering when he'd get the chance to speak with the Elder Dragon again. Fallowing along behind the people that were leading them to their room for today. Helping support Layla as they walked. "I'll explain once we get to the room..." He assured gently stopping an waiting for them to open the door to the room that they'd come to. Smiling his thanks to them before heading in. Lia didn't question what he was talking about an why the fire was so needed. Simply going and building the fire so that it became an roaring mass of flames. Only when that was done did she go over to see what he was doing. Taking the note when he handed it to her. Getting a frown as soon as she began reading. Could this all be linked to the note she had received the night before. Reading it over one more time before going and placing it within the fire so that it could burn. Pulling her own from her pocket- she hadn't wanted to risk leaving it lay about in her room.- to hand to him still with a slight frown on her face. Whispering to him. "I received it last night.." Starting to run around an gather things for the trip. "I understand... then who will be going with you?" She asked wanting anyone within the hall to think it was just a normal exchange between Prince and maid. Nothing more. When really it was.
Aaliyah stayed close to Alexander. She nodded her head. A yawn escaped her mouth. The two people smiled. "Rest. We will bring you both a change of clothes before the dinner." The two exited the room.
Aaliyah sat on the bed. She could feel everyone's magic. She could feel how alive nature was. "Alexander, thank you for everything. . . Mother locked away everything before our powers came in. She wanted to protect us from father." Her body curled into the bed. "Alexander. Could you hold me?" Aaliyah felt at peace in his arms. She knew it was because of the bond, but it was still a nice feeling.
Jaydon traced the note she handed him. He didn't recognize the hand writing. It wasn't safe for Lia to be here any longer. She needed to go back to the Rebels. "My father's adviser and any person reliable." He quickly wrote a note explaining to Lia she needed to leave the castle now. Follow them to the border and cross the border. She would be safe across the border. "After I get back from the trip, which is a week's journey." Jaydon knew only magical beings could get to the border in two days, but he could not expose himself to the adviser. "I will be preparing a declaration of war against the magical beings.. Particularly the dragons." If by chance anyone was hearing their conversation it would sound as if he was weening out any rebels.

Alexander had thanked them before they had shut the door an told them that they'd bring them a fresh pair of clothes for the dinner tonight. Before heading to the bed seeing that she had already made herself comfortable on it. Smiling slightly at the sight. "Yes, give me a moment though.." he told her gently heading for the small wash room. In the process of everything this morning he hadn't gotten the chance to wash up. Coming out an joining her a moment later after washing off his face. Laying down an wrapping an arm around her as she had requested. Lia read the note quickly that he handed to her while she listened to what else he had to say. Quickly shaking her head an grabbing a pen to write her own thoughts on the matter. 'I can't, if anything should happen while your gone that could help no one would be here to know of it. Despite the risk it would be foolish for me to leave right now...' Handing it back to him for him to go over. She doubted he would agree or like what she had to say about the matter but they needed someone stationed here no matter what. "Are you sure that would be wise? With everything going on after your sister's disappearance and then her murder..."
Aaliyah smiled softly and curled into Alexander. "On to the hard part convincing them to help us, while learning to control my magic and this bond." Alexander felt safe. "Try to get some sleep. You're probably just as tired." Aaliyah drifted off into sleep quickly. The nightmares that usually plague her sleep were at bay. A smile crept on her face. In her dreams an elegant horse pounced around her. The horse quickly vanished and she could see her father murder her mother. "No." she screamed. Her eyes flashed open. Tears ran down her eyes. Jaydon quickly wrote back: 'No, I have faith there are more than one person stationed here. I do not want you to be here alone. It is not safe. You could die. I am not letting you die over a letter. Please Lia.' "Yes it is the only way to get revenge for my her and mother." Jaydon eyed the window. "They must be stopped. No more deaths by dragons." 'Bring Margret with you' He hand the note to her. He then preceded to walk towards the window. "By this time next week all magical creatures will be dead."

While most dragons- or so he had heard where heavy sleepers Alexander never had been, he thought it had something to do with the fact that his life was always on the line because of what he was an his need to always move to a new place. So had become awake when she screamed. It made him wonder how anyone had not heard it, it seemed to be so loud. Although then again he also thought that could be due to the fact he was laying right next to her. Coming awake with a jolt, looking around for the threat that had caused her to scream. But found nothing. Then saw the tears freely running down her face. "What's wrong? what happened?" While she had no way of knowing rather or not Margret was in fact part of the rebels it seemed that she was given some of the things she'd seen her doing an the fact that she had been caught listening in on Jayden and The King. However the rest of the rebels here remained a secret to even her. Seeing as it was too risky to know who each other were so it was never told. Considering for a moment telling him her secret. The one that she hadn't dared speak to another in years. Biting her lip then wrote out quickly. 'Fine, I will go then, and bring Margret when I do...... What I am, is only one of my secrets that anyone could of figured out had they dug deep enough. When you return, should you need my assistance with anything send word to the base camp. That's were I'll be.' handing it over. However she knew his words not to be true and even if they had been she didn't see any words that she could say to either stall it or to convince him otherwise.
Alexander's voice grounded her back to where she was. She quickly pulled away from him. "Nothing." The same response she gave to her brother after this dream. She walked to the bathroom to wash off her tear stain face. Going back to bed was not option she had. "Go back to bed, Alexander. I'm fine. I'll sleep tonight." Part of her wanted to tell Alexander everything, but she was still hesitant. Outfits for them appeared out of thin air on the chair. She grabbed hers quickly and went to change in the bathroom. (view spoiler). "Is it safe for me to come out?" Aaliyah didn't want to walk in on Alexander change. She was thankful the outfits came when they did so she didn't have to explain. Jaydon smiled as he looked at the note. 'Thank you. I'm sorry. I could not live with myself if I couldn't protect you. I will make sure to let you know, but please say hello to my sister.' Jaydon didn't want to travel with his father's adviser. His adviser was just as bad as the King. His father took the bait. Now Jaydon needed to make sure that he did not get trapped in his own plan.["br"]>["br"]>

Alexander could tell that it wasn't 'Nothing' but he wouldn't push her to tell him if she didn't want to talk about it. He had his own things that he did not like talking about an this he took was one of hers. Getting up to change into his own outfit. Finishing up with buttoning up his shirt as he heard her ask if it was okay for her to re enter. Having most likely heard him moving around an guessed at him starting to change as well. Calling out after another moment. "Yeah it's safe to come out.." Why he felt the need to so strongly protect her was beyond her. Seeing as to her knowledge they were nothing more to each other then Prince and Chambermaid, or in their case right now.. two people working together to stop a common enemy. Nothing more nothing less. Despite her lack of power when it came to her own magic, the rebels had trained her in hand to hand combat. Everyone that was accepted into the rebel's camp to join their fight was taught in hand to hand combat. It was one of the major things you had to learn right next to harnessing one's power. She hadn't gotten to the second part though. Seeing as she had been needed out in the field as quickly as possible. So even if she had remained here she wouldn't of been completely defenseless. Giving a smile an a slight nod. Writing down. 'I will.... be careful when traveling with the advisor, he'll be looking to see if you hold any powers of your own.'

Aaliyah walked out of the bathroom. "Like what kind of dinner are we going to? I am used to these dresses, but like I would rather be comfortable." The green dress complemented her red hair. "How do I look?"Jaydon sighed. He felt responsible for protecting everyone. Even Lia. 'I know. It worries me. Hopefully everything will go as plan' Jadyon knew it was risky, but it must be done

((https://www.google.com/search?q=pictu...)) Alexander's suite Alexander looked up from finishing up with sliding into his jacket that it had come with. Almost swallowing his tongue when he saw her. "I- um. You look beautiful...." It was true. With the green dress and the red hair... they matched perfectly. Whoever had chosen the dress had done a wonderful job. Clearing his throat after a moment. "I don't honestly know, seeing as it's my first one as well. Seeing as I've mostly been in your kingdom for my life time I hadn't needed to leave to go else were seeing as I moved around so much." he explained. He had an idea on what it would be like due to his parents telling him tales of them when he had been growing up but that had been a long time ago now an his parents had both passed by now.
Lia bit her lip again reading the note once more. Holding up a finger as in saying 'One minute.' Before turning her back to him and waving a small gem into existence. It cost her some energy but it was worth it. Seeing as if she couldn't go with him to help him with this... then the next best thing she could do was give him something to help protect him no matter the cost. Risking speaking this time for the first time sense entering. "Here. You can have it attached to one of your weapons or something... it'll help with the cloaking of your powers and help you clam should something happen while your gone that you feel the need to go and protect her... it's not much but, it should work well enough." Saying it all in a hushed whisper.
Aaliyah locked eyes with Alexander and blushed. "You look quite amazing too." The suit sat on Alexander's body perfectly highlighting all the right features. "You should wear suits more often." She was preventing herself from gazing at his body for an inappropriate amount of time. Aaliyah attended important dinners in the past, but not with magical traditions. The door open with the two figures from earlier. "Follow us this way."
Aaliyah glanced at Alexander as they were led to the dinning room and sat next to each other.
"Welcome. We will be discussing the possibility of joining with you to take down King Jensen." An Elder's voice boomed. "The floor is open to discussion."
"No. The last time someone was naive enough to propose this she ended up dead. My sister ended up dead with no way to see how my niece and nephew are doing." Any color Aaliyah had on her face disappeared. Her mother had a brother? Aaliyah bit the inside of her cheek wondering it would wise to reveal her identity quite yet.
Jaydon smiled. "Thank you." he whispered. "Now please leave my sight." He attached the Gem to his weapon. Tomorrow was going to be a long day. A long day of trying to survive. "Please prep my horse at the break of dawn." He typically didn't mind doing it himself, but it would give Lia a chance to leave before anyone else. Jaydon would not be leaving until after breakfast. His powers were still a bay. As long as he kept it that way during their trip he would be safe.

Alexander gave a slight smile at the comapment that she had gave him. Although he had no real intention of taking up wearing them more often. Seeing as he perfired his jeans and shirts over anything fancy. Waving for her to go out first then fallowed her out the door, shutting it behind him. Listening to what was being said once they reached the room that it was being held. Wondering what had made them change their minds. Seeing as when they had arrived they had been turned down so in that short amount of time what had happened to make them change their mind an want to join them? Hearing that her mother had, had a brother. Seeing the look on her face when she learned of the news as well. Clearly she hadn't known. Squeezing her shoulder lightly in support. Lia had to believe that he knew of her own power, although he hadn't addressed the matter with her. An doubted now that he would rather nor not she would of said anything to confess to it if he had anyways. Only giving a nod to his order to get his horse ready at day break, sure that it was for her own sake an not his. Seeing as it would give her time to get away. Before giving possibly her last curtsy to him. "Will do, I'll be sure to let Margret know tonight... safe travels sir." she said before turning to leave.
"We understand what is at stake. If your niece dies the Faeries won't have a new Queen and the world of magic as we know will be wrecked." Someone pitched in. "But we have to try." Aaliyah bit the inside of her cheek. "If we don't try things will get worse."
"I don't want to hear anything from you. You're a fairy who doesn't know how to control her powers. You are useless. What kind of mother raised you?"
Aaliyah stand up from her seat. "The kind who was brutally murder in front of me." Anger and hatred swirled inside of her. She wanted to kill him. No torture him.
"I see you can't even prevent dragon emotions from entering you. This is why faeries don't bond with dragons. It creates a time bomb." This man who probably was her uncle didn't know the situation. She was already a ticking time bomb. He didn't know anything about her. He should just keep his mouth shut.
"It is what is. The girl is part of our culture too now. We will take responsibility for teaching her our culture and controlling her bond. You will teach her about the Faeries and controlling her magic. In a week we will see if she has grow any and worth partnering with." The Elder who looked like the bartender from the bar said. "Is that fine with everyone?" Mumbles echoed in agreement. "For the second time today Dragon. Calm her down before she does something."
Jaydon knew Lia had her own powers, but it wasn't none of his business. Maybe one day they could become friends and discuss it, but for now it wasn't. Jaydon smiled. Lia wasn't safe here anymore. Neither was Margret. They both needed to escape.
Margret was accomplishing her normal duties. When someone walked in and grabbed her by the neck and dragged her off. "You been listening into our conversations. Rebel or not you're about to make yourself useful." The adviser put an invisible tattoo on her body. "You are going to be a nice puppet for the King." Margret simply nodded her head The adviser was going to force the Prince's powers to out and then do the unthinkable.
Margret returned to doing her chores.

Alexander had to wonder if any of them actually knew who she was. Plus his own feelings on the matter couldn't be helping her any seeing as he could feel how upset and betrayed and.. and murderess she felt towards some of the people in the room. Taking her hand lightly an giving it a squeeze. Saying softly. "It isn't the time for this... clam down, all they want is to teach you how to control your powers, and then we'll go from there.." Seeing as he was sure that he'd be tutored under one of the dragons here. Rather it be the Elder or another he wasn't sure yet. Plus he was sure that now she was in no mood to share who she really was to these people. An he had to agree, right now was not the time to be confessing who she was to anyone. Lia had began her hunt for Margret once she had left Jayden's room. Seeing as if they were to leave at sun rise after she got the horse ready then she would have to know ahead of time. Being careful not to show her worry as she walked all over the castle, finally finding her in one of the small rooms. But... something was off. She just couldn't place it. She had noticed it as soon as she'd gone to speak to the women. Regarding her to see if she could try and figure it out. It was magical that much she could tell, however the rest she was unsure of. She'd need a few moments alone with her to try and figure it out an even then she wasn't sure.
Aaliyah looked at Alexander. "Stop acting like I'm upset because of training." she hissed underneath her breath. Then turned her attention to the person speaking."With all due respect sir. Taking a week to start training me is appreciated, but can we wait a week." "We have survived a week. And we will survive another one." The Elder glanced at the dragon. He could sense the young dragon was holding back from completely calming her down with the bond. "And neither of you are ready for war."
Aaliyah did not want to be trained by that faeiry. He disrespected her and her mother. If he was so worried about her and Jaydon why didn't he try to save them. Why didn't anyone try to save them? The lights in the dinning room blew up. Glass shards flew across the room because of the explosion. Her Uncle did not deserve to know who she really was.
"Please calm her down for goodness sake. Use the bond if now. Before the next explosion will lead the Hunters here." The elder snapped.
Margret noticed Lia walked. "Is everything okay?" Margret asked softly. "Did the young prince do something to hurt you?" You could hear the worry in her voice. Margret seen many of cases where the Prince hurt maids. Father like son she guessed. "I honestly wish the men in this castle would respect woman. Some of the horror stories I have heard and experience." It sent shivers down Margret's spine even thinking about it.

Alexander was no more pleased with the outcome then any of them were. But he was also not going to use their link with the bond to do so if he didn't have to. Seeing as once they were both trained and knew how to cope and better control her powers then they might be getting rid of it. No need to make it stronger then it already was. Taking her hand an leading her a few feet away from the others. If they got mad at him for doing so it wasn't his problem. "Layla.... I know your mad. Not just about the training but about everything being said. I can feel it, just like your feeling my annoyance with the whole thing. That's part of the reason you feel so strongly right now. But you must clam down... I don't want to have to use the bond between us to help you to do so if I don't have to but I will if I must. If you want to be mad at me as well for doing so, I'll understand. But please... this isn't, the time nor the place to be doing this. I know how enraged you are. But you have to let it go, no matter how much you don't want to, it'll only cause something else to happen like the explosion. Maybe even bring the hunters down on us. If we are going to win this we don't need to be in a fight with the hunters as well." Lia shook her head to get herself to pay attention to what was being said an to shake herself out of her deep thoughts. "No, no. Nothing like that. I was actually coming to look for you." However she had to wonder what she meant. While she had served as Jayden's chambermaid she had never witnessed him being anything but kind to anyone, expect for when his father was around but that was only a role he played. It was the King that treated women badly as he did everyone expect for the people he liked and could use to his gain. However now that that had left her mouth she wondered what she could possibly fallow that up with. Seeing as something was off... could she really risk taking her with her come morning?
Aaliyah glared at Alexander. "You want me to calm down?" she asked. "I am calm. As calm as one can get when they hear their dead mother being insulted for not raising you the right way. Or being insulted for not knowing anything about your powers or culture. Or wondering why no one even tried to save you. Or never having a home." Her voice quivered with anger. Alexander annoyance was he upset too? She couldn't distinctly separate her emotions from his. Aaliyah felt everything around her buzzing. " "Just leave me alone Alexander." Aaliyah walked out the dining hall and started to wander around the mansion until she found a quiet area. "Sometimes young Dragon you cannot fight natural instincts." The Elder said.
"The girl must be experiencing sensory overload. Faeries magic are extremely connected to the environment. We can feel the magic of every non-living and living being. Most Faeries are naturally used to it. But I guess it is unnatural to her." Aaliyah's Uncle said. "Dragon it might be best to use the bond until I teach her how to control it."
Margret tilted her head. "What do you need?" Margret went back to cleaning the room. "Oh. . . okay. . . as long as you're okay." Margret only had bad experiences with the Prince. She didn't realize he was actually kind and playing the part the King wanted him to. "I'm worried my daughter is supposed to start working here this week. The King is a bad man. I don't want him hurting her like all the rumors say."

Alexander rubbed as his forehead mostly out of frustration with the whole thing. Glaring at her uncle before snapping out. "Try being a bit nicer to her an then maybe you'll get someplace. Until then, stop insulting both of us." Then turned to The Elder without a second thought, giving a slight nod. "I know- it's very hard to sometimes. While, she's in training I'd like to undergo some as well, I've lived in King Jensen's rule for all my life so naturally I couldn't always train and learn without risking reveling what I was an in turn getting killed. My parents taught me what they could, but they... passed away soon after The Queen died." Lia felt bad, that she would be leaving as her daughter would be beginning work here. "Don't worry, I'm sure if she keeps her head down she'll be safe an out of harms way.. where is she coming from if you don't mind me asking? I was actually hoping to talk with you about... something." If her daughter was coming from somewhere near the base camp then she was for sure a rebel. Noticing something else. Asking after a moment. "Are you well, you seem a little off."
"Don't pay any attention to Terrance. He's just a grumpy. There's a lot of issue with the Faeries right now." The Elder snapped his finger to fix the lighting. "Training. . . Yes. . . I don't see why not. You can join the girl in the morning." Terrance eyed the dragon. "Please try keep your anger in check. You can control your emotions just fine, but the girl can't." He eyed the Elder. "Once this blows up in all of our faces I'm leaving to see my dying mother with or without my niece and nephew." Terrance left.
"Now go find the girl before she freaks out." The Elder said. "You both need your rest."
Margret was hesitant about saying where her daughter was coming from. "I cannot say." she whispered. "I'm fine sweetie. I am just worried for my daughter. This is her first time away from home." She paused for moment. "I try to keep my head down to stay safe, but it doesn't go too well."

Alexander had just come to dislike the guy more as soon as he'd opened his mouth. God. Was there some kind of spell he could use to shut the guy up? It would be nice. Watching as he walked away before turning his attention once more to The Elder. "Thank you.. where shall we meet you come morning?" He asked seeing as he'd like to know ahead of time, then he'd go see to finding Layla.Ah so she wouldn't say.. that only proved to her more so that she had been right in assuming that she as well as her daughter was a rebel. Saying in Latin "posuimus enim servi spe" it was one of the small codes that they used to test each other should they be be part of the rebels. Anyone else wouldn't know what to say. In English it translated to. 'For we are bond together through hope'.
Aaliyah felt more anger in a split moment than any other point of her life. She could feel it. "Make it stop." The windows started to blow out of the mansion. This was the first time in a very long time she felt helpless and defeated. Aaliyah didn't know how to control her powers, emotions, or this bond. Tears ran down her face as she saw the image of her father killing her mother. "Someone will come for you." The Elder said as he heard the windows shatter. "Now please go."
Margret glared at Lia. "You shouldn't be saying that in here." Then went back to doing her work. "They are always listening remember that. Even when you think they aren't listening they are." Margret sighed rubbing her forehead. "Please never say that aloud again. If the wrong ears are listening everything can start to crumble."

Alexander gave a nod to him as he heard the window's shatter as well. Seeing as it was clear that he'd have to get his own emotions under wrap so that she wouldn't have to feel so much. Then headed for the door, an heading to their room. Seeing as it had come in that general direction. Pausing for only a moment upon arrival to give a short knock before walking in. "Can I come in..." He asked peeking around the door unsure if his company would be welcomed or not, even though he would have to speak to her either way. It had been a risk, Lia knew that. But she had to make sure. "Okay.." Crossing over beginning to help her. Looking around to make sure no one was around before saying softly. "come with me in the morning... it's not safe for rebel's here any longer I have something to do come dawn but after I will be headed out."
Aaliyah shot a glance at Alexander. Tears rolled down her face. "Please make it stop." She bit the inside of her cheek. "There's too much going on. I can feel everything." Aaliyah wanted to have the ability to control her powers. She didn't want to have to rely on anyone else, except herself and Jaydon. She didn't want to have a broken family. Aaliyah didn't want to be helpless. Margret eyes widen. "I can't leave my daughter here alone." she whispered. "I'll have to think about it for a moment." Lia was right it wasn't safe for rebels anymore. Especially for Margret, who was on thin ice of having her cover blown. "Okay, I'll go. I will be no use to my daughter dead."

((Ahh! Sorry! I thought I answered!)) Alexander walked into the room seeing that she did need someone. No matter how much she wished she could do this- the control her power on her own. Right now she needed help and training to do so. Going over an sitting next to her resting a hand on her arm gently as he did so, taking as much as the feelings away as he could. It was overwhelming for her. He could see that. To have to feel both of their feelings all at once... along with everything else going on within her. It was a lot for anyone.
Lia gave a barely visible nod to her to let her know that she understood. Whispering the last part so that she knew where to meat her come morning. "Meet me at the tree line. I am to prepare a horse come dawn but after that I will come to meet you there." Maybe if she got lucky she could talk to Jayden one more time before they left although it would be risky. But as for now, no one knew of their working together.
((That's okay. I understand !!)) Aaliyah leaned on Alexander as she started to relax some. "Mother always told us the story about a Fairy Princess and Prince. They would go on this journey with two friends." A yawn escaped Aaliyah's mouth as she was telling the story. "They would face many hardships, but in the end they would unite all beings and bring magic back." Her eyes felt heavy. "No matter what happens with us and the bond can we still be friends."
Margret nodded her head. "I will see you in the morning." she whispered. Margret started to pack up her things quickly. ((Ummmm I'm unsure what else to do with Margret. So I aplogize for the shortness))

Alexander could see how tired she was, it had been a long day despite everything. Listening as she told him the story that her mother had told them growing up. Giving a slight nod. No matter what happened in the end with them an the bond he would still want to keep in touch with her. "I promise..." he told her softly. It was a good story and one that he was sure was playing out now. He'd tell her come morning what the plan was for the day if they weren't summoned first. "Come on, it's been a long day an you look like you could fall asleep at any moment.." He told her going to pick her up. Lia nodded an excused herself so that she could leave Margret to her packing. Heading out an to the kitchens. She would grab a snack for herself before she had to take dinner up to Jayden for the night then retire to her own bed so that she could get his horse ready come dawn.
Aaliyah nodded tiredly. She curled into his body. Aaliyah hated sleeping. She hated the nightmares that plagued her sleep, but she her body was tired. "Alexander. . . goodnight." she whispered before she fell into a deep sleep. The next morning Aaliyah awakened to knock at the door. "It is time for training." Aaliyah groaned. It wasn't often she received a good night's sleep. She tiredly put on the training clothes.
Jayden heard a knock at the door. "Come in." He turned to see his father's adviser. "What do you want?"
"I have come to tell you we will be leaving tonight."
"Wait why? We should have a good night's sleep."
"There's going to be another rebels attack in the morning. We must make sure you are safe."
Jayden looked skeptical at the adviser. "Of course." he whispered gathering his things.

Alexander had been up for some time although, in was due to years of sleeping light and getting up at the crack of dawn. So he was dressed an ready to go by the time the knock came. Although he hadn't bothered waking her letting her sleep seeing as she had been rolling a lot last night. Maybe a bad dream again. He thought going to head out an answer the door. Lia frowned as she turned the corner an saw the door standing open to Jayden's room. Going over an lightly knocking on it before entering. "Um, I brought you dinner... should I have it returned?"
Aalyiah looked at Alexander and sighed. As the two beings wanted them to follow for a morning run. Aalyiah undersood the importance of a morning run: increase speed and agility, but she was not looking forwaed to it. Especially on an empty stomach. They were led to an indoor track and were told to start running. Aaliyah started to run.Jayden eyed Lia. "That was due an hour ago. " He hit the food out of her hands. He didn't want to be a jerk. But one sign of weakness in front of the adviser than his whole week would be horrible. "Please prepare my horse now. I am to leave in an hour."

Alexander fallowed them out and then stretched a bit before he hit the track knowing that it would be better that way. Keeping a steady pace. Even if he did wish he had the chance to eat before it was most likely better this way so he wasn't doing it on a full stomach either. Lia knew why he had to, act like a jerk but it didn't mean that she had to like it either. Placing the stuff on the tray an carting it back to the kitchen without so much as a backwards glance. Dropping it off an then headed to the stables, to do so. Getting it ready and then sent a hand to inform him so that she could turn in for the night.

Aaliyah was relieved when the running was over and she could finally eat some breakfast. Her body wasn't used to rigorous exercise. "Alexander, this whole training thing will put us behind. The King will figure something is up with my brother and Lia. I know they want to train us for war, but we don't have time." Aaliyah would love to be properly train, but she felt war was gaining up on them. Jayden looked at the advisor and back to Lia.
The advisor glanced Lia. "Hurry up maid. If the rebels will be attacking tomorrow, we must get the prince out of here before it is too late."
Jayden realized Lia was stuck here now. She couldn't make an escape. If she did King would know she is rebel.

Alexander agreed, the training would put them behind but yet, it seemed as if they were stuck with doing it. Seeing as the head wanted to make sure they were able to fight when the time came. Thinking on his answer while he chewed the bite in his mouth. "I agree, it will put us behind hugely. Yet, they seem bent on making sure we have at least some training.. I'll see if I can't speak to him about it. " ((You may want to re-read Lia's))

Jaydon relaxed into his bed. Sleep greeted him. He slipped into a deep slumber. Soon nightmares started to plague his sweet dreams. Terrifying images floated in his mind. The dragons throwing his sister into a prison. Was this yet to come?
