I read Still Life with Breadcrumbs for this prompt. I didn't find anything special about the book and found it kinda boring.

I'm reading Baking Cakes in Kigali for this prompt at the moment. I'm finding it slow going as there isn't a proper coherent plot, it's like lots of short loosely related stories thrown together with a few central characters.
