very very very overused.

Rachel
I will never forget the days we once had
The days when you were everything to me
My mind used to tell me we'd be together forever
But now I realize that was all a big dream
The feelings I have for you will never go
I wish I could take back that one regretful day
The day when I willingly let you slide from my arms
Never did I think of the astonishing pain of regrets
That I would once have to live through
The sight of you in someone else's arms
Makes my heart shatter into a million pieces
I sometimes wonder if you still think of me
Or if to you, I'm just a face in the crowd
I wish so very much that one day we can have it all back
But for now, I'll sit here silently
Remembering all the memories we once shared
Everyday my love grows much stronger
Hoping that one day you will feel the same
And put back the pieces of my broken heart.
Yeah, this is super stereotypical. I don't care
The Flower Field
Sarah M.
Walking down a path one day
A gentle wind led me astray
Saying, “It’s nice here; won’t you stay?”
But I knew that I could not
But I followed the wind through a mass of trees
Then stopped to listen to the bees
“It’s glorious here!” they buzzed. “Stay please!”
But I knew that I could not
But the bees led me to a meadow of grass
And who but a rabbit came to hop past
He said, “Please stay in the meadow vast.”
But I knew that I could not
But I followed the rabbit to the flower field
The beauty of it my eyes did wield
My mind stopped and my feet did yield
And leave, I knew, I could not
But the sky grew dark and the clouds turned grey
And I knew I had to be on my way
When my heart said, “Sorry, I must stay.”
But I knew that I could not
So I left half my heart and went away
Hoping to be back some day
When I can live in the field and stay
But I know that I cannot
Incase it's unclear where 'broken heart' fits in, the guy broke his heart in two and left half in the field. So yeah.

Guessing
by Hanzle
I don't always have to understand you,
I don't always have to prod and pry,
but I still try,
to read between the lines,
and inside my heart,
you'll find,
More things aren't what they seem,
confusion and overlooking the facts,
don't command me,
I'm not blind,
I will ask why,
when you pull me away,
to tear me to pieces,
to separate and mask the feelings,
That's not in my heart,
it never was,
To you,
it's never good intentions,
or the real thing,
to settle and stay,
the one thing I think about,
every day,
the one thing that melts my heart,
and breaks it in the same way,
So do you know,
will you guess,
it's one last time to ask.
