You can reach out to me if you need any help while setting up your blog in detail.
Kampai...

feel free to comment if you have read some of the books I've listed to read or already reviwed

It your blog Autumn and fancy words don't matter. All that matters is that you are truthful to yourself and what you feel. So share your blog Autumn, who knows it may inspire somebody...

I agree with Gopal. I myself have no clue as to how to do a book blog and gave up trying to put one together but I LOVE reading other people's blogs. Your so-called $2.00 words could very well prove to be priceless when it comes to someone who is inspired by your feelings about a subject, a book, and in general, LIFE. So swallow your fear of embarrassment and let us be a witness to your life....share. (smiles)
I love discovering new book blogs. Both people who write about their own books, and their writing journey, as well as people reviewing and reading books.
This is a great thread.
This is a great thread.

Freda, I can help you put together a blog if you are interested. You are a wonderful person and you have an amazing story which needs to be shared with people out there. Gimme a shout if you want to blog, it is not much hassle setting it up. Just some though for food.

This is a great thread."
Blogs are like opinion pieces in a newspaper without an editor... :)

Oh, thank you! I made those for charity for my sister's Leukemia and Lymphoma run.

Genre - Mystery / Thriller / Detective / Crime / Serial Killer
Rating - 5 Star
Review - Mind Me, Milady
The story is so gripping that it would really be impossible to keep the book down once you have started it.

Genre - Mystery / Thriller / Romance / Drama
Rating - 3 Star
Review - Dangerous Vows
The overall feel of the novel was really nice. A mystery without going dark.

Genre - Romance / Mystery / Suspense / Drama / YA / YA Dark Themed / Thriller
Rating - 5 Star
Review - Use Somebody
This is a dark love story. The story is in first person and alternates between past and present at frequent intervals.

My other blog is my all-purpose blog that includes various musings and occasional reviews of mysteries set in New Mexico, and interviews with the authors.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the heads up re: NetGalley. I'm also looking for crime fiction to review.
If you like crime thrillers and would like a free Kindle copy of The Breaks, the first in my series, there's an upcoming promotion scheduled for the next couple of days. If you want to get an automatic notification of when this is happening, please add your details here: http://www.edensharp.com/
Thanks and best wishes,
Eden

You have a great blog Linda

Depends on your knowledge of code, some people choose Blogger because it's so easy. Wordpress.com is free but limiting, Wordpress.org needs a host site. Wix, Ghost, loads to choose from.
Wordpress seems to be taking over the world but needs a little knowledge.
I like Blogger, it's just so easy and you can buy really cheap premium themes if you want.

Nice reviews Dana
Looks like you are doing OK, just to say, I found that your post with the all white background much easier to read than the ones written in white lines, might be helpful for other old codgers like me!
Here's mine if you want a look, I mostly do audiobooks, the theme is new to me and I know I need to fine tune a few things

Looks good Rob. I like the clean white space and the pop-up to sign up is slick.
I think it would improve with the use of more visuals.
In terms of additional content I'd suggest:
a) articles that relate to the world of your book e.g. if you have a character that frequents bars in San Francisco, do a review of quirky establishments that might appeal to tourists (this might then attract those visiting SF and encourage them to buy your book as travel reading and to get in the mood)
and b) curate other people's content on a topic e.g. find out what people are searching for on Google (a topic that you're interested in) and add a snippet of each to your blog with links out to the originator's full articles and add your own bit of commentary.
Criteria for content - useful or entertaining.
There that's my dollars worth!
Best wishes,
Eden

Thanks again!
Rob

Lovely clean, crisp site, less is more, I'm not keen on sites with all the visuals, too cluttered and look so dated.
I love your site. I didn't get any pop up though - for which I'm thankful

You did a great job, I couldn't cope with Wordpress despite its reputed simplicity, had to go back to Blogger. That's a an amazing offer you have going, at least, it's still going in Australia. I have problems reading on Kindle so will wait for the audiobook, then I can review it on my blog
