Personality: Marc is always willing to tell the truth. Although he is kind he is unwilling to lie to spare the feelings of others. He is smart. He loves seeking the truth about everything. He is also very welcoming to new initiates, although he is still brutally honest. He loves his family even though he believes they are wrong in their oblivious kindness even to the point of lying. He will do anything in his power to spread the truth to his fellow members of society.
History: Marcus was born into the faction of Amity. His parents, Cheryl and Evan Thorne, would always teach him to be kind to everyone. Marc, unlike his brother and sister, never understood the point of lying just to be kind. He started saying whatever he thought to be true. He would call his sister a wuss and his brother an idiot. Then when the day came for his aptitude test, he found out he was more suited for candor. At his choosing ceremony he disappointed his parents by becoming a candor transfer. He finished first in initiation and chose to be a trainer for new initiates.
