Lol ok. Well....... horrible acting most if not all of the time , terrible dialogue and i mean terrible, the scriptwriter should have been thrown off the job but i mean i guess its meant to be terrible? Idk but i might link you just one specific scene where Clary is supposed to be sad because her mother is dead and the whole scene made me laugh when it was supposed to be serious.

Cant find the damn scene basically the scene is where her mother is in a coma or dead and clary asks what she’s supposed to do and magnus says something along the lines of “you just have to go into it and cry your heart out.” And it was said in such a cheesy way and dramatically that it was laughable i’m not kidding it was that bad.
But after seeing some more clips i will say that i do like the tv show Jace for the most part , he isn’t as obnoxious as he’s meant to be in the books lol (its surprising because brits tend to annoy me , but there was also no british accent so that may have helped.) and magnus seems pretty funny like he did in the books , just based off of a few clips . Alec i already knew was kind of cool and his and clary’s dynamic is nice .

All I have to say is that you shouldn't rely on our opinions. Just try the show for yourself (and join me on anti Shadowhunters TV sites).
If like it great if you don't great.

And even if I was full of bullshit, at least it can be used as fertilizer which helps the soil and helps things grow. Unkind comments to people who don't agree doesn't anything.

Who are you talking to exactly?

(at the beginning I would like to say sorry for my english - it's not my first language)
Also I would like to add that for me Clary actually is lying to herself all the time that she hates Sebastian. There is this scene in COLS where they are in the club in Prague and Seb asks her to come with him to show her something (the fountain and their reflection in its water).
I read somewhere that when you are drunk or on drugs then your consciouness decreases and your subconscious comes to the fore. When she was asked by him to come with him she thinks that:
"“Clarissa,” he said. “I want to show you something.”
No. The word came and went, dissolving like sugar into liquid. She couldn’t remember
why she was supposed to say no to him. He was her brother; she should love him. He
had brought her to this beautiful place. Perhaps he had done bad things, but that was a
long time ago and she could no longer remember what they were."
And i had this impression throughout the whole book that she must constantly remind herself to "hate him" "say no to him" "dont trust him" "he did many awful things" etc. Yet when she is drugged and relaxed she doesnt see the reason why all above shoul take place. She even thinks that she really should love him.
It something like in hypnosis for me. The state when you are relaxed and when all the facades come down and you really feel what you think. Imo she just persuaded herself that she must hate him, but she really didn't feel that way.

I love clace, so much. They're story is amazing and I like Jace too. As many people mentioned they have more depth. I like Sebastion at the end of Heavenly Fire.
