ABANDONED. book about older guy-younger girl, trying to avoid being together

*Here is what I remember the book is about a girl who is class president, and meets this good looking guy (orientation night- I think), after she cursed on stage and disappointed her patents. She damages his truck, the strips in front of him. He makes her replay him by helping at his gym. Which I think is across from her aunts store.
He's parents died and he takes care of his younger brother who just started school with the girl. He doesnt wasn't to want her because she is to young. We find out that she's damaged because her step brother rapped or molested her.
I also remeber the older brother wrote this song about her and in the end that's gets her

I read it late last year, and I think it was adult novel. She's a senior but she is eighteen and I think he's in his mid twenties.

You have described the plot of nearly every new adult book I've seen, so maybe that's why this sounds so familiar. Not sure if the characters fit w the one I was thinking of :(
