sooooo, because it's winter break and I'm home for the holidays and, quite frankly, bored out of my mind for the next three weeks (or at least until christmas and i finally get a 3ds), i thought i would give this group a try. really, i just wanted to try out writing again and see how it goes and this three week block seems pretty perfect for that. not saying that i'll one hundred percent be active-- this is kinda a trial and error thing rn tbh -- but we'll see.

Ah that's good to know. Out of curiosity, have you watched the new movies or the old? In my personal opinion, I find EVANGELION: 1.0 YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE (and all the movies that came afterwards) much superior than the old movies and anime. I know this might not be the most popular opinion out thee, but it's mine. What about you?

mmmm, the new ones I guess? that's the 1.0 and past, yeah? because those are the ones that we watched :P personally, I found 2.0 to be the best out of the three. the first one was pretty good, second one was solid af, and then the third... we kinda got halfway through and were like "meh" so we didn't really finish it, I don't think. I'll have to set up another anime weekend to finish it aha. 2.0 was damn good tho omfg.

Next I wanna watch the show, but that's gonna be another anime weekend in and of itself, and we still gotta watch the rest of guilty crown and then start noragami aha. so idk when i'll get around to that :P

Jenny : Yup. Those movies are a part of a whole Rebuild Evangelion thing, which is basically a re-boot. With the third, it's very emotionally based therefore takes a completely different tone then to the first two, so I'm not shocked to hear that it was a bit "meh" for you guys. It's the sort of movie you watch on your own and cry over. 'Cause the ending is pretty heartbreaking when you get down to it. And this is coming from a girl who dislikes Sinji! You really do feel bad for picking on him in the earlier movies.

But be for warned about the anime. The ending is complete and utter garbage. And so is Guilty Crown (pretty visuals though -- terrible literally everything else). Aaaand Noragami is really cute. :3
