A book based on a fairy tale

Any thoughts on this one? It should be interesting, there are prequels, sequels, different perspectives etc what are you planning on reading for this prompt if you've decided to use it?

I'm think of reading Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige or if I don't get to it by the end of the month I'll be reading After Alice by Gregory Maguire his books are all about the fairytales, but adult orientated and maybe a bit darker. He is the author of Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West which would work I think.
