What Angels Fear by C. S. Harris (Sebastian St. Cyr #1) January 2016
Oh, by the way, my book had a preview of what I thought would be the next book but wasn't. (view spoiler)
having read the first 6 or so books in the series a few years ago ( and looking forward to this reread!) my advice would be to go into each book without reading the blurbs or reviews if you can so that key plot points don't get spoiled for you. Because there are some real surprises along the way.

I've read the entire series and I have two comments - one, this is not a "romance" series so there isn't the typical H/h fall in love and a HEA at the end of each book. Second, I think you will be thrilled to see what's going to happen - and how it happens - with Sebastian's love life!!!

Maria Rose's advice is excellent - stay way from the blurbs if you don't want earlier books to be spoiled!
I finished this book a half an hour ago and liked it. It's now time for bed so will join discussion tomorrow. I looked at spoilers and (view spoiler)

I need to join in the discussion as well! Just haven't had a chance to sit in front of a PC to do them. Find it much easier that way then doing them on the iPad.

Thanks Lauren. Like you I am happy Harris went that direction.

Don't you find the keyboard a little clumsy to work with?

Nope! I'm so used to using it on a regular basis that it's second nature. Plus, my hubby got me an iPad Pro for my anniversary and it has a full keyboard.

ooooh! Pretty!

I know what I want for my birthday... of course, by then there will be something newer and shinier....
Lol! I hadn't even heard of this one. My reaction was mixed because it looked like a laptop, which made no sense.
This is the first I've heard of it as well ... I really cannot justify getting it any time soon as I have an iPad and an iPad mini. I am such a gadget addicts!
Ha ha ha! Know that feeling Lauren...I am thinking of upgrading my tablet to an android so that I can use the Swype functionality. Love that feature on my phone and I miss it so much on the iPad! I would then probably do more typing on the tablet.

now see, It was so long ago that I read this that I can't remember which characters show up in which book (trying not to spoil anything here!). Now I definitely need to be on the lookout.

As was I! It's a library copy, too. But, it made me happy:)

I don't understand why the publisher didn't put a teaser for book 2...really dumb move on their part!!
It was positioned by the author as, "my next book," which was apparently at the time the eBook edition was created. I just assumed that was book #2. Didn't even look at the title.
Crazy decision by the publisher. Maybe it was Freudian.

So words of wisdom to all of you out there - don't read the teaser for the next book at the end of the one you are reading, in case it's not actually the next book!!

When I binge read a series or it's been awhile - I am the same way Maria...I know what happened but not what book.
Sunny wrote: "I just finished and I made the mistake of reading book blurbs and reviews of the next books in the series. Okay, I'm sucker for spoilers and I am so looking forward to seeing these characters progress! (view spoiler)

I just finished and gave it 4 fun stars. I enjoyed very much and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Hi Veronica! Great to see you here! Welcome to this group! You know, I've read all your reviews of this series.

I don't know (view spoiler)[ Hero yet and I'm sure I'm going to love her. It's less about the character, but more about the ideal of true love (hide spoiler)]
