IAD Series Numbering

Hi, just realised that the numbering of the books in the Immortals After Dark series on Goodreads differ from how the author numbers her book on her website. MacRieve, Book 13 is the last book which "tallies".

Shadow's Claim is not listed as a spin-off on the author's website but rather as Book 14 in the series contrary to what has been listed on Goodreads.

May I know if there is a reason why the books are numbered this way on Goodreads?

i'm guessing because the description has changed - originally it was supposed to be a new series as a spin-off, but it looks like that isn't going to happen and its rolled into the IAD series

that being said, it is book 13 per her website and Macrieve is 14
