I didn't get a chance to start. Took my dog to the groomers and then I took my son to the movies and he and his girlfriend watched The Fault in Our Stars. Then I took my daughter shopping at Rue 21, then we went to B&N. We didn't buy anything there so we went to Half Price Books and I bought a few books there. Picked up Lola from Pet Co, went home dropped her off and then went to my sisters to have tacos for dinner and watch the latest Jack Ryan movie! So I had a full day! lol!

Yeah, I guess I "could" have read during the movie but it was really good! Sometimes I do read while everyone is watching the movie...I can usually do both, but that one keep my attention pretty good once it got going! lol! :D

Miles (view spoiler)[I get that he is upset that Juneau drugged him, but him turning her over to his father is a worse betrayal. I hope that he finds her and helps her get away from those chasing her (hide spoiler)]

Juneau (view spoiler)[she has been dealing with a lot of betrayals through this whole book. It would be hard to find out that Whit is helping to track her down and to not know why. I am hoping that Miles will turn into someone that she can trust. (hide spoiler)]

Finished. Wow, I loved this book.

Juneau (view spoiler)[she is such a strong character, she had to deal with a lot through this book so many betrayals and finding out about all the lies that she has been told growing up, she has handled all very well. I loved how she stole Miles car when she overheard his conversation with his Dad. (hide spoiler)]

Miles (view spoiler)[he is a great character I loved that he was going to take Juneau to find her clan in the end and help her get away from his father (hide spoiler)]

Juneau (view spoiler)[ That was kind of strange what she did with the homeless lady! Using her as an oracle? Very strange! And the starburst in her eye? And all the children in her clan are the same? Yeah, weird but I like it because it's differnt. Not the same old, same old. (hide spoiler)]

Miles (view spoiler)[ So his dad is just taking it on faith that she is coming by boat to Seattle? Why does he think this? I almost feel like there was a traitor in her clan! I really hope that's not the case! And what is this "drug" he's talking about? (hide spoiler)]

This story has me gripped so tight I want to keep reading but I have to go to bed. Have to get up early and take my son to a doctor's appt. But I'm off for the rest of the day! WooHoo! I hope to finish tomorrow! :)

I can't say much to your insight/questions without giving things away but I (view spoiler)[ also thought it was weird that she picked some random lady; however, I think she felt led to certain things or like she'd been guided to her and other people. (hide spoiler)]

And what is this drug his dad is talking about? Someone said in a spoiler earlier about Juneau's dad or someone in their group was given a drug and maybe that is why the kids have the starbusrt in their eye. Is that's what's going on here?
