MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 535 comments I have a Listopia list: Best Fantasy Books with Strong Women Characters https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...

In order to keep the list as close to the intended purpose, here is the description:
The book must feature/star a STRONG main female character. If she is in a relationship/partnership with someone, she must not need (regular) rescuing, be able to take care of herself, and intelligent. This means no silly women who think they don’t need help as well.

Also, no Ana Steeles or Bella Swans. No emotionally dysfunctional relationships or romances (this means YOU Beautiful Disaster).

Please, do not add any Romance books to this list. This list is exclusively for Fantasy, please do not add any Science Fiction.

NO SELF-PROMOTION. If you wrote it, do NOT add it.

Will it be an issue if I remove all the self-promotion from the list? It specifically says that people should NOT add books that they wrote themselves.

Has that been part of the description from when the list was first created? If so, then go ahead and remove books that do not follow it.

MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 535 comments Not from first creation but before the books in question showed up.
