The Kill Order
The Fever Code
The Maze Runner
The Scorch Trails
The Death Cure
Is this correct?
If so I should read The Kill Order and The Fever Code for this prompt correct? Sorry just confused on the order! Thank you!

But it is your challenge so however you want to count it would work.
I did find this on goodreads. I did not fact check it though.
Publication Order (primary work):
#1 The Maze Runner
#2 The Scorch Trials
#3 The Death Cure
#4 The Kill Order
#5 The Fever Code

Thank you very much!! That is very helpful! It almost makes me think I would have to read, The Kill Order and The Fever Code as prequels to The Maze Runner but, I could be wrong.

What about The Fever Code? Where does that fall then?

The Kill Order 0.5
The Fever Code 0.6 (not published yet)
The Maze Runner 1
The Scorch Trails 2
The Death Cure 3

This is what I'm planning, also.

I have really enjoyed this series. I have about 100 pages left of Winter. I hope you enjoy the books too.

That definitely works for the Hobbit and LoTR.
The books I used the prequel was also published before the book.

To anyone who has read The Lord of the Rings and/or The Hobbit, which would you recommend reading first?

Oh man, you might have just changed my mind on my picks.

It is also super tiny. Of course that would knock off a book you can read in a day as well LOL.

Does To Kill a Mocking Bird and Go Set a Watchman count for this one?
If not, what about The Silmarillion and The Fellowship of the Ring? I have read the hobbit and don't want to reread a book for this challenge.
Or what about The hedge knight stories and Game of thrones?

I would count it.

I would count this also. I did try and read the Silmarillion and found it to be very technical written not really novel style. I did not make it very far, someday I will retry it.
I have no idea about the last one.

I still want to read Jane Eyre (again! one of my faves) and Wide Sargasso Sea (has been on my tbr forever!) for this prompt.

I think you could read all four book which ever two you don't use for the prequel and book would fit easily into different categories.

If you are not able to find a copy of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, I highly recommend "Peter and the Starcatchers." It's a prequel series to Peter Pan, written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, and it's FANTASTIC.

Another prequel option (although it's also a follow-up to another series, so you'll have to have read that first for this to make sense):
Ice Study is the prequel to Shadow Study. (Ice Study is also the follow up to Fire Study, the last book in the "Study" trilogy, and the short Power Study.) I've read the "Study" trilogy but not these books, so I can't vouch for them.
