I am curious to find out how you like Casual Vacancy. I spent most of the time while reading, wanting to throw it across the room. After I finished it though, I found that I liked it a lot. It is interesting how an ending can either ruin or save a book sometimes.

I must say that one was DNF for me... I tried it on audiobook though so can't really skim through parts if it bores me :p

I haven't ever read this one, but I think I am going to do the mysteries first. The Cuckoo's Calling, etc.

Hi Jean, great to see you jumping in our challenge :)

Charlotte's Web, however, is owned by Lyn, so you'll need to request in this thread for her to respond.

If you see the Board (which I'll try to keep updated), there are links for where you should request for each property squares :)

we have a lot of to-read books in common, but not many of read books for me - hehe!

here are my picks for you:
Carved in Bone - i love this series because i'm a huge crime/mystery/forensic pathology fan
Brooklyn - so you can read the book and then go and see the movie
The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules - because the title makes me laugh!

It is just one colleague, and I have no doubt we all have one like her. The type that has a tantrum anytime they are asked to do something unreasonable, you know like their job unless of course I've missed an episode and she is actually being paid to play on the internet and do crosswords all day.
