Task 25.13 book 1 The White Peacock there is no page count information listed on Goodreads. It is up to the challenge participant to resolve issues concerning page count before claiming a book for points. You can have a Goodreads librarian research the page count and update the Goodreads database by asking here: Anyone with librarian status....

After the information shows up on the paperback's main page, please repost this task in its entirety to claim your points.

Goodreads Author tickets are no longer awarded. They have been replaced with:
20.4 GOLDEN OLDIES - Players may earn a ticket for each book FIRST published in or before 1950. A random ticket will be drawn from the ticket pool to determine who creates this task. Challenge finishers are not eligible for the drawing. Players must specifically request a ticket in the post by claiming "Golden Oldie" and stating the original publication year. See the current season's Posting Requirements for more information.

There is a MMPB Carrie- 253 pages

>If there are multiple editions in a format:
From the editions page (click all editions on the main book page)
Set the Format, beginning with Mass Market Paperback
Set the Sort By as "num ratings"
Use the top edition result to determine the page number for ebooks and audiobooks
If there are no editions in MMPB, reset with Paperback and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no paperback editions, reset with Hardcover and the same sort (num ratings). If there are no print editions the ebook or audiobook may not be used for a task requiring a page number

Maybe I'm not understanding the task? I thought the painting was to remind me of a book. In The Good Goodbye, two girls, Arden and Rory, are cousins. They are the same age and look enough alike to be twins. They've grown up together and are like sisters. They've spent summers together at a lake and went to the same high school. I related the book to the painting in that the two little girls in the painting could be Rory and Arden as toddlers. They look alike, they could be cousins...

Hmmm. I'm reading through it again, and I guess it's much more a literal translation. (As in "The girls are on a beach, so the book title must have girls or beach"? Yes?) I guess I thought it was a bit more creative than literal.

The connection is between the image and the title of the book you read.
From the task:
" If you were tasked with naming, or captioning, one of these masterpieces, what would you call it? What possible titles or captions come to mind? Locate and read a book with the title you imagined. "
