If you haven't yet read any of Jo Nesbo's books, then you are in for a treat. Start with the first book of his Harry Hole series and you will be hooked.

This new book is apparently a stand-alone novel. And, though I will really be missing another installment about Harry, I'm still stoked to get another book by Nesbo.

You will not be disappointed with this new Nesbo book. I, too, LOVE Harry but.... I really liked Sonny in this book also. I found him to be a very sympathetic character and no matter how many he killed, I never stopped liking or rooting for him because I felt his inherent goodness and compassion for others. Yes, he becomes a cold-blooded killer because he is The Son, the avenger. But, there is always the "other" side of Sonny and it is that side that drew me to him. What are YOUR feelings toward Sonny w/ his pacifist personality on one hand vs. the avenging killer ?? How did you feel about him?
