Bryan Craig I believe the offer is closed (see message 168) for those of you who recently posted. However, you can get a copy from a bookstore or the library, so please join us. We would love to have you.

I am also in VA and did not get mine, either. Kathy is the lucky one.

message 181: by John (new) - rated it 4 stars

John | 170 comments I haven't either, which is fine, it's probably a bit too soon. I just think the dispersal pattern whenever we have an offer like this is interesting- which is probably attributable to distribution centers, etc- it seems a little different every time as to which areas of the country get them in what order. I guess I am a little "geeky" that way. :)

I do have mine. Kathy, I think the mods were sent out first for preparation but I believe they should have all gone out this week.

@Anna - sorry but the offer is closed but you can still get the book at the library or your local book store or on line either as a hardcopy, paperback, Kindle, mp3, and on audible.

Thanks Vince - folks just make sure not to go beyond Chapter One.

Sheila C | 15 comments I saw this post above about not moving beyond chapter one and wanted to ask--are we going along at a certain pace as a group or ? I have never done this before so I feel a bit ignorant on some of the details! Sorry!
Also, how will our discussion proceed? Will it be on this thread?
Lastly is the SPOILER ALERT note for details others might see on this thread or for us as well? I ask because one of the url titles gave away a big spoiler in some of the first few posts that I was reading so I have stopped going through those preliminary threads - the ones at the very start of the thread. Should I continue through or is that alert for all, including us?
Thanks so much, Bentley, for all your hard work! I am really looking forward to reading this book. Simon & Schuster has been very generous in giving us these copies!

Hi Sheila

So I am just a participant but the process is to read in defined sections to permit participation in on line discussion -

Take a look at the Liberation Trilogy reading previously done to see the format the flow of information and interchange of thoughts from the group

just trying to save Bentley some time by answering but Bentley feel free to add

Yes, I just got the book myself so I will be posting later today the table of contents and syllabus.

Yes, the spoiler alert points to threads where details may be given about the book that a potential reader might not want to read first.

The weekly non spoiler threads are the places to be to avoid that until you are ready. We post the spoiler alert for those folks who are adamant about no spoilers. There are no spoilers on the weekly non spoiler threads.

Sheila have you received your book yet? Thank you Vince for your help too.

Update - April 30th: ALL THE BOOKS ARE IN THE MAIL - all of them and they are on their way to you. Please post when you get your book on this thread.

Thomas, you made it - Brilliant.

The mods and I will be completing set up of the threads and there will also be a Q&A thread so that folks can ask you questions about your book as they are reading and discussing it.

Also, feel free to contribute to all of the weekly non spoiler threads as they are opened up each week. We all look forward to May 12th.

The majority of the lucky recipients who are going to receive the free book offer have still not received their books yet because they were sent out only a couple of days ago - so they are enthusiastically awaiting their book's arrival.

Delighted to have you here and we will help answer any questions that you may have along the way.

We also want to thank you and Simon and Schuster for this most generous opportunity.

Regards,

Bentley
